If you get betrayed in the middle of a firefight, do you boot. I don't, I mean come on you've got a bunch of people in a confined space trying to kill each other, something bad is bound to happen. The only time I do boot is if I know they're just trying to be tards. What say you Bungie community?

$50,000,000,000 REWARD!!!

Santa Claus must be stopped! He is a menace who is not only guilty of billions of counts of breaking in entering, but also runs an illegal sweatshop of midgets forced to work for no pay using stolen materials to make gifts that infringe on every company and manufacturer around the globe, causing world wide economic disasters. He is to be taken dead or alive!

I just booted a guy by mistake after he betrayed me. I had my finger on the X button already. Him and his three guests got booted, and they were all on my team, so I ended up by myself. OOPS! Booting is for -blam!-s.

one should only boot when they know that they were betrayed on purpose. i mean come on it is not my fault when some dumb ass walks right in front of me when a shoot a rocket. Some people are just to damn quick to boot people.

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

I play with a three-strike rule, and it works exacly as it sounds. You get 3 accidents, but if you hit the batter with the ball intentionally, you're out. Chances are if you accidentally kill me three times, I'm doing myself a favor by kicking you.

Greatest of all time

sometimes i accidentally damage (not kill) teammates and i end up getting booted

no i dont if its an accident

  • 06.30.2007 8:11 PM PDT

Wait what am I doing?
}}-{{ //-\\ ))_ {()}

no because i have done that a couple times with stickies, like i was throwin a sticky and they walk in front of me or they do that to me

  • 06.30.2007 8:51 PM PDT

Usually I am the one that is booted after accidentally killing a teammate. If I know that it is an accident or if someone betrays me and I can't tell that they did it on purpose, I will not boot that player. Now if is is on purpose, well they had it coming.

I only boot if the person did it on purpose. I mean I had times where I picked up the sniper rifle and my ally killed me so he could use it. I noticed that the boot option comes on a lot for me where the ally didn't even kill me it just popped up but I mainly ignore it.

if its an accident why would you boot someone, most of the time when this happen they are trying to help you out, and you did something unexpected.

Standbying, bridging, and modding are all on the increase. Bridging is just so out of control it's to the point where my party will only get host about 1 in every 10 games (until the Americans get home from school). Then, it's about 1 in every 25 games. I don't expect to get host more than any American (due to geography), but at least we used to get it about 1 in every 5 games!

It needs sorting out soon before it gets even worse!

they say "no," but they mean "yes;" at least, that's what they do in practice--boot players who obviously betray them by accident. i think this poll is BS. it's not often that this happens to me, but i do get booted almost EVERY TIME i betray somebody by accident and they're given the option to boot me

anyway, my theory is: if a player betrays you, and you're given the option to boot him, then that player has probably been betraying a lot cause he a) "SUXz" or b) justs like to betray his fellow teammate(s) (either on purpose or by accident (as is the topic)--either way... LOSE 'EM!

If it was an accident, then it depends on this: Score.

If they have low score compared to the others on the team i boot them...unless it is an objectives game.

I don't betray others, unless i throw a grenade down a hallway/corridor and one of my teammates rushes in...that is the only way i could possible betray someone...

So i don't care if i get booted, it is better than being on a team with idiots like that.

I voted no, if someone accidentaly betrayed me and he is a great owner in my team, then I won't boot him, if he's a noob with zero kills, then I boot him, for the benefit of the team.
