Exactly right. All you Halo 2 haters just can't handle change. The fact is, that Halo 2 demands the same amount of tactics in Halo 1. Nothing has changed about the way you should mentally prepare for the gameplay. You've got to be intense, extremely accurate, and good with grenades if you plan to survive on Heroic or Legendary. Being biased about graphical tidbits is lame. It's all about the gameplay. We didn't complain when Super Nintendo was dishing out 2 dimentional games, because the gameplay was challenging.
And now you're going to complain about HALO 2's graphics? Let me tell you, no game can satisfy everybody. Because every person likes certain things. But if you like challenging and extremely competative gameplay, Halo 2 is where it's at.
SMG = Halo 1's assault rifle (which can be dual weilded, unbelievable)
Battle Rifle = Halo 1's pistol
^ Read that again ^
The new battle rifle is so much more fun to engage with than the 1-pop-shot pistol from Halo 1. Looks, feels, and sounds much more devistating.
The only complaint that I have is how they ended it. Last mission was with an Elite!?!? The ending was so unexpected that I gasped.
