No.

Halo 2 is perfect.

It is a shining paragon of gaming virtue. All other games pale in comparison to the brilliance that is Halo 2. They shall quail before its approach, bow meekly as it passes, and then fear to tread in its firey footsteps.

Future generations will build monuments to the might of Halo 2. Great ziggurats of power shall bear its name for all eternity, clad in adamant that will last beyond the dying gasp of the Sun. In times long hence, men will hold their manhoods cheap ('cause ho's are expensive) that they did not shed their blood with us here, today, in the glory and bliss that is Halo 2.

Oh, and this thread belongs in New Mombasa.

Recon Number 54 you are too right about the whole pistola thing. The pistol in Halo was WAY to powerful and just damn cheap. Not to say that I didn't use it to great success, but as the years went on playin Halo, THAT'S ALL YOU COULD USED TO STAY ALIVE. It kinda made the game one dimensional. But as far as improving Halo 2 goes, sure why not. You could improve any aspect of any game. The REAL question is this: How long are you willing to wait to play it?? Making things perfect for everybody is not only impossible but it would take forever if it was tried! That is the kicker my friends!

I agree with it being perfect. Other than the minor changes they made like how they changed the single shot option for the battle rifle, or the instant hit for needlers, or the weird graphics loads on the videos. other than that i think it's good. they couldnt have made it better, watch the damn dvd that came with the special edition halo 2.

Bungie, please listen, i know you worked hard, but H2 sucks. im srry, it does. the gameplay is the crappiest ive felt in a while, the weapons, do we really have to go there. please tell me these things will be fixed if and when H3. I know you've read this all but, THE FLOOD, come on. no one liked the flood in the first one. couldn't you be any more creative. how about some other new species.

Exactly right. All you Halo 2 haters just can't handle change. The fact is, that Halo 2 demands the same amount of tactics in Halo 1. Nothing has changed about the way you should mentally prepare for the gameplay. You've got to be intense, extremely accurate, and good with grenades if you plan to survive on Heroic or Legendary. Being biased about graphical tidbits is lame. It's all about the gameplay. We didn't complain when Super Nintendo was dishing out 2 dimentional games, because the gameplay was challenging.

And now you're going to complain about HALO 2's graphics? Let me tell you, no game can satisfy everybody. Because every person likes certain things. But if you like challenging and extremely competative gameplay, Halo 2 is where it's at.

SMG = Halo 1's assault rifle (which can be dual weilded, unbelievable)
Battle Rifle = Halo 1's pistol

^ Read that again ^

The new battle rifle is so much more fun to engage with than the 1-pop-shot pistol from Halo 1. Looks, feels, and sounds much more devistating.

The only complaint that I have is how they ended it. Last mission was with an Elite!?!? The ending was so unexpected that I gasped.

I think halo 2 is perfect but only 1 little thing I WISH THE ENDING HAD A BIGASS EXPLOSION OR SOMETHING LIKE IN HALO 1 lol (i like explosions) and i also thought that halo 2 would be more on earth then outer space and on the second halo ( i was hoping for levels like the one on the e3 realtime demo
