Sorry if I gave you all information that you didn't need to find out. I'm new at this type of stuff so I appologise.

I'm sure it will. You will have to completely turn down everything to even get a decent performance out of it, but the only things that really matter are Memory and your Processor, and those seem up to par.

By the way, Change the color of your laptop. Halo 2 does not like any form of blue.

EDIT: After checking again, I don't think it will run. The processor is really bad. Get something AT LEAST 2.4 Ghz, with 2.6+ is favorable.

Ok thanks a bunch Cow Pie Soup, lol... That's a funny name by the way. But I am pissed about my laptop not being able to run even close to high : (
Damn it!!! Oh well, I guess i'll just get a better computer.

Here you will need this to help you get your foot out of the back of your throat, looks llike its in there pretty deep. And what is that on your face? Egg?! *hands Kim a washcloth*

The processor should be fine, but your graphics card is holding you back. You can manage low settings and a lower res, think 800x600 class.

Nah, his processor will work.

everything is fine except the grahpics processor. Which most likely you cannot upgrade.

You will be able to play, but on low.

If you just bought it, swap out for a lappy with minimum ati x1600 mobility... if you can.

I have one of those Radeon mobility cards in MY laptop, and I can't run Halo 1 on high...

I have pretty much the same laptop but with a slightly better cpu and it runs campaign nice on medium at 800x600 but multiplayer is choppy at points even on low.

Just make sure you set your system to switch to Basic theme when the game is on to make all graphics go to the game, and you will be fine.

Go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo 2
Right click on halo2.exe
Click compatibility tab
Make sure "Disable desktop composition" is checked
Click OK

When the game is on, your skin will be ugly as hell, but the game will be smoother. It'll go back to normal when you exit.
