No Scoping a kid in the face who had the sword and hearing his squeeky voice go WHAT THE----as his voice gets cut out.

Halo 2 is a very fun competetitive game. There are many things that make a good halo player.
My diagnostic of halo is this:

Weapon Skill: 30%

TeamWork: 20%.

Individual Skill: 20%

Tactics: 20%

Button Glitches: 10%
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These are probably the most important aspects of how to become a great halo 2 player.

-Weapon Skill, is if your aim is good and you can control weapons.
-TeamWork, basically know how to play with team mates and help eachother out.
-Individual Skill, is your act to protect yourself without relying on others.
-Tactics, the smarts of th game (The people without tactics usually go negative and rush in and die alot.)
-Button Glitches, yes yes i know these suck but mastering the BxR, BxB and Double shots really can stretch your game.

Instinct? Awareness? Granted you need all that you mentioned to be great, but would you deny that there is no natural ability invlolved? Some people are just natural good at video games or FPS, others naturallly pick up visual clues like where the guy is shooting from, etc.

As far as those which you did mention: AIM is at least 50%.

your diagnostic is a little off tactics and teamwork at higher levels is the most important because you get to a level were it stands to reason that everyone is sound with the weapons and their individual skills are at least descent

I get what you are saying, natural skill is good, but natural skill isnt going to be good enought. Natural skill is the first time you play a game you are decent. Aim is also huge, but 50%, no.

Yeah awareness is really important. There are times when you have to make split second decisions on the fly. Tactics are key as well- setting up can and will lead to victory.

teamwork is the most important thing. I've seen lots of times when people who are really good but don't work with their teammates and end up losing or the other team has lass skill but still wins because of teamwork.

So your saying without glitching you can't be a good player or be a high ranking player?
I disagree with that. I don't glicth and never will. I still can get the most kills in a game. Ya, so people who glitch will kill me face to face, but I never get close enough for that to happen, or I'll be carrying a shotgun in my pocket.
