In my recent experiences on Bungie.net, I've noticed a very welcome change. There appears to be a considerable decrease of the general stupidity that was once, well, almost native to this website.

In previous months, the forums were teeming with trolls, flamers, spammers, and other various lowlives. I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like there is so much less of that these days, and trust me, I'm not at all opposed to it.

Well, anyways, I just felt like verbalizing my thoughts, as I have a tendency to address current cons and pros of the community. Auf Wiedersehen!

The Flood's definitely improved since the new hawtness arrived.

Strange evolution how people have come to believe
That we are it's greatest achievement
We're barely, we're just a collection of cells
Overrating themselves

Fortunately, spammers usually have a short attention span.

When the next big announcement comes, they will return, en masse.

ps - Bungie.net without trolls would be about as exciting as a rectal exam.

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

I remember when it was way WAY worse spam wise.... so don't cry to much.

As a Squirrel Ninja I do hereby promise to uphold our traditions, beliefs, and secrets, to recruit and induct Squirrel Ninjas who represent our ideals with pride, and to defend our traditions at all costs to myself with no exception. As a Squirrel Ninja I promise this until I die, or can’t physically or mentally uphold the ways of the Squirrel Ninja.

Just wait till Halo 3 comes out....they will all return.

You think it got what it takes to be..?.

God forbid you send me one of those I was checking for cool gamers and saw you messages too, I will scream to the top of my lungs and smash this damn screen/BlackBerry to pieces! You've been warned -_-

......Yeah what they say. And when they returned we have to be ready to kill em all. I'll need modifications on my AR.

I do it for Ada

I have returned

I think it's mainly because the beta is over. Once E3 comes around the idiots will return for about a month.

I'm guessing that the lull in the ARG is also contributing. What was once a full page of "OMG, AR P0ZT3D!!1" threads has been reduced to the occasional "I'm bored" poll. Oh, happy day.

There's still plenty of flaming and all around retardedness in the Flood and Halo 3 forums. I think there's an overall decline in posting period with summer here. The elmos are either in summer school or out setting each other on fire, rather than posting. I don't think it has anything to do with the new hawtness.
