i dont see the need to become a "Expert" in Halo 2 when halo 3 is along the way but if you look at older games like CS 1.6 and CoD2 and others, the older ones still has loads of players as well as the new ones, but i still think the game needs to be played for fun and not like its life and death.

Yeah kid whatever I'm bored but I'll tell you what contact Fonzi he gives lessons a lot so I'm sure he'll help you out. Just find his gamertag I'd tell you but I'd have to look I think its Fonzihostsnubs send that a friend request and put lessons I'll pay or something like that. He'll probably accept. After that you'll probably need paypal or something of the like. I dunno I would pressonally never do it because I've beaten Fonzi but you could do it if you want just trying to help you out.

You want to learn that stuff? It's pretty easy if you give the time for it.
If you want a pro trainer, you'll have to find one. And it ain't cheap stuff. 30$ an hour or so.

I'll see you on XBL sometime, I have some people who play MLG a lot. My game tag is xVxV3ndettA

If you want to learn how to double shot, you'll just have to play campaign on heroic "not legendary" like I did. Just double shot your way throughout the first stage and restart it once your through. It will take a while, about 1 hour to get in the hang of it. Next ,you'll just have to play customs/hardcore using the double shot. I'm still trying to get it into my instincts but I've made some good kills with it. If you do this, you'll be using double shots naturally, unless you become conscious of the idea that you might mess up when using it.

If you want to be a pro, you gotta develop a mind that can read the game. That's what makes the difference between pro and expert. Their ability to read the game and utilize their skills are so high, that they can dominate games so simply.

Keep in mind, pro's depend on their team mates unless your talking about FFA. It's all about team work and placement. Everything else follows.

Doubleshotting probably requires more skill than anything else in H2. The glitches don't take away from skill at all.

Obviously, that's not because of no glitches, thats because of less auto-aim.

glitches are manipulating game animation, aka cheating, how is cheating being skillful? Double shotting is cheating and therefor is cheap and doesnt require skill.

Yes also because there is less auto aim it requires more skill but now all those button glitchers who whine because they can't do it anymore in halo 3 try to spread propoganda that halo 2 requires more skill.

heres a formula

Button combos = cheating

Cheating = no skill

button glitches = no skill

No more button glitches = more skill required

No, you fail.

If doubleshotting takes no skill, why can't everyone pull it off? You obviously have no idea what you are talking about.

ITS HARD.

Stop being an idiot. Doubleshotting takes skill.

Skill-the ability, coming from one's knowledge, practice, aptitude, etc., to do something well:

Doubleshotting is an ability, that you learn to do first form knowledge, then practice, and people can do it better than others. Not to mention, its insanely hard to doubleshot accurately. So it takes skill. Stop -blam!-ing. Button combos are only cheating in MM. They aren't in Customs, or LAN. So do they take skill there, but not in MM, even though they're the exact same thing.

First off, your firing a conversation which is AGAINST the rules and regulations. Which is just as bad as cheating.

glitches are manipulating game animation, aka cheating, how is cheating being skillful? Double shotting is cheating and therefor is cheap and doesnt require skill.

You have a way with fallacious reasoning. "Snipers takes one hit to kill if it's a head shot. I just got hit by a sniper sweep, thats cheap! There fore, it must be cheating!" Theres hardly any difference to what I just mentioned and what your trying to say. Just because it kills faster, doesnt mean it was an effortless, laid back, lazy maneuver.

Second, your being ignorant of other's oppinions, enforcing your own thoughts without legitimately defending your claim. Which is the irony of your saying "SCREW COMMUNISTS FTW"

Third, the notion of what is considered cheating or not DOES NOT remove the fact that button combos take skill and practice to use, more-so than 4 shooting or no-scoping with 1 sensitivity.

In any case, your not making yourself look like "the good guy" just because of the side you support. Sorry bud, but your making yourself look bad by making others look bad without being legitimate about your claims.

Finally, your response has little or nothing to due with the authors purpose of the topic. Do you have ANY idea what the author even wants? His topic is might be locked because you failed to have enough self-control to be consistent with the topic!

Actually nicky has a point, glitching is cheating, but what is sad is people finding these glitches just to be better at the game and say it takes skill.

Hey there, my name is Toro and I am 15 years old.
I am OBSESSED with Halo 2 and when I go to my moms house (the place where the xbox is) I play ATLEAST 6 hours a day.
I've had XBL for over a month now, and all I play is Halo 2. Before I got XBL I always played single player and a few weeks before I got XBL I watched professional videos of clans and gameplay and I have seen at least over 100 videos. I know a very large amount of stuff varying from superjumps (which I am good at) to double shots. I have already played 1044 games. My highest rank is a 20 and that is in Team Slayer. My favorite gametype is Team due to the MLG like enviornment. I ONLY play with the battle rifle and I EXTREMELY enjoy duing custom MLG's at my 2 favorite maps Midship and Lockout. I know all the important areas in maps such as P3 (on top of pink tower) at Midship and all of that, but I want to be an EXPERT and I wish to have some coach or trainer to help me improve the following things:

Double Shot (maybe quad shot)
BXRs

And any other things that an MLG pro would need to know.

Trust me, whoever decides to be my trainer won't be dissappointed. I follow all orders, and I have a LARGE amount of potential

My gamertag is Pwnernaut
I am currently in Colorado, though, and I wont be on XBOX for at least 1 week, so just reply here and I can get back to you eventually. Please respond!
HAPPY

How sad. You want somebody to teach you how to use illegal button combos and glitches in the game to get "better"?

4 shotting isnt button glitching..its shooting someone 4 times in the head...
Posted by: isjusme

four shot people with your BR.
.

That's just as cheap as superjumps. If you'd learn how to do that, you might as well get one of the quad-shot controllers. I may not be the best with a battle rifle, but 4 out of 5 times (people at my level) I could kill somebody who button glitches if they didn't do that. There's no point in it anyway. What do you achieve in doing such a thing besides a cramped hand?

Its an animation glitch, which was not intentionally put into the game. Bungie employees have told us time and time again that its code manipulation, and that makes it cheating.

FACT: If you use that glitch, or any other glitches in Matchmaking, you're cheating. Its Bungie's system, so they get to make the rules.

LAN or Custom games are a different story. Those are systems of whomever is hosting them. Meaning that those who are hosting those games get to decide the rules.

Locked, as these button glitch discussions always turn into pissing contests and flame wars, and because you can't advocate cheating on these forums.

-edit-

And because there seems to be some ambiguity; there has not been a patch released to fix those glitches because Bungie found that any attempts to fix them compounded all their problems. Apparently, it opened up some glitches that were even worse, so its not possible to get rid of the animation glitches.

HALO<3

i always win against the average halo player in mlg setting and i think everyone knows about p3 and br2 and all of them even averages and ive been playing halo 2 for 7 mounths! then you get pros who have played halo 1 and 2 for 5 YEARS!!!! almost everyone that loyal to halo is at pro skill so its usually experienced people that win.

MEANING you have no chance at becoming a H2 pro

Greatest of all time

No matter what any of you say you can not change the fact that button glitching is cheating no matter how much skill is needed. They aren't even meant to be in the game so i don't get why people use them. But yet they still use them and that is cheating, if you mod in a custom game isn't that against the rules and regulations? So if you use button glitches in a custom game it is still cheating.

Cheating = no skill FTW
