This would be a good time to point out that the US Government seriously did consider nuking the moon during the Cold War as a show of force. Project A119.

"A large explosion on the Terminator line would put the sun behind the mushroom cloud, making the explosion visible with the naked eye from Earth."

Then the US decided they'd just send in Neil Armstrong to land on it. Neil Armstrong - the one man on the earth that was considered a suitable replacement for a nuclear missile.

I thought it wuld be cool if Bungie remade Halo 1 and 2 for the 360 so we can unlock achievments and other cool stuff. What do you think?

Sure, I'd love that, especialy Halo 1 so it could have some sort of stable online multiplayer, as it's not guaranteed everyone knows about XBC and even the ones that do know, hardly any of them use it for Halo 1.

The thing is, I know they won't..due to Halo 3 already using their resources, and I'm guessing they'll still keep devoting all their resources to it after it's released, at least for a while.

EDIT: Dang, now your post just mentions achievements, I was thinking you wanted H1&2's graphics refurbished for the 360 or somethin, which would take a lot of time. I wish they'd just release an update that added ahievements to H2, I'm sure all the fans would appreciate it, and it doesn't seem THAT hard to implement. Hell, they already do it with all the live arcade games that have been classics. Then again Halo's coding will be a lot more intricate than something like bejeweled, but I don't really know how hard it is in the long run to be honest.

I suppose if they made a more detailed AotCR that'd be really sweet, but weapons would have to stay the same, for the classic in Halo to be true. Nothing wrong with upgrading enviromental details though. I don't know what these achievements are really, but they sound kind of cheesy.

As for Halo 2, it'd be neat if Bungie reduce all of the loading zones to make it more like Halo, more intriguing for exploring and trying odd things out.

My gamerscore isn't what I was worrying about. Other people unlike you do care what their gamerscore is. I just play the game and beat it that is why mine is only 995. However, the other people who do like to go around and do achievements. I made this poll for other people's opinions not just to state my own. Now if they both were remade for the 360, I think that would be great. The graphics would be refurbished, so the people who just play the game for fun gets to look at how much better everything looks. And there would be the achievements for the people who play the game to brag about their gamerscore.
