Alright, somebody informed me that it is not my pentium 4 that causes problems with HALO for PC, but I do have a 32MB graphics card and it is still slow. I Just don't know what it means by 3D graphics card. how do I know if my 32 MB card is 3D capable, or should I just get a new one, period the end. there are no errors, it just moves like 2 frames per second or some crazy slow speed like that.

P.S.- I was also wondering if anyone knew if Bungie was coming out with HALO 2 for PC sometime in the distant future, or if i'm going to have to buy an XBOX to ever own it.

Ok, in reference to your first question, YOU NEED TO GET A NEW GRAPHICS CARD PERIOD! ok 32MB is not even the minimum now days, 64MB is, and if your interested in just staying at the bottom, go out and get a GeForce MX 440, and make sure that you have an AGP slot to put it in (you may have to open up your PC to confirm this).

In reference to your second question: I will refer you to an ongoing thread

uh how about the GeForce 5700 Ultra, that is 128MB, and it runs swell. Look around at newegg.com if you want to get a good price quote on any card.

the only problem with that is the 5700 ultra is $170

if you only wanna spend about $50 then the Nvidia Geforce FX5200 is an ok card. i have it, it runs halo, just not on high settings
i'll even give you a link to the new egg page for the card at $49

newegg link

EDIT: it's actualy $54, b/c of shipping.....

um ok, having "no lag" isn't what we are looking for, we also want to have some decent resolution and some "kick a,ss" graphics.
