Using a method that doesn't allow your opponent to defend themself, at ALL, is just cowardly, and on top of that the method itself takes no skill, which is why most people hate it. Hell, I'd love it if tomorrow Bungie announced the PP is gone forever from matchmaking.
Is it not possible for them to tone down the homing ability in a patch? I wouldn't have a problem with it at all then. That crap follows you around corners for Christ's sake. It's like a built-in one hit kill gameshark code, which is why I hate it.
Mainly I don't use it because there's no challenge to it, you don't feel like you accomplished anything when they're dead, challenge is what makes a game fun. I like BR all the way, or snipe.
The tracking is toned down in H3. However, we've got H2 and its been out for a while now so lets just remember that things aren't going to change. Their
focus is H3 only. With that being said.....
-Theres nothing noob about it. If you play by a non existant honor system then you deserve to lose for limiting your options. The best players know how to counter anything, use all weapons well, and use discretion. I've seen people who know a guy has a sword run at him over and over again, same with the PP/BR, use cover and find another way to take em down. The noob combo only works against 1 person. If people used teamwork, it wouldn't be a problem. 4<1+1+1+1.
If its in the game, use it. If you wanna play by some honor system thats fine but that means 2 things. 1. Don't -blam!- if you lose. 2. It doesn't make you better or more honorable to use it. Do you think MM is a popularity contest? Do you think this is feudal japan? There is no reason to limit yourself.
If your enemy is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. If sovereign and subject are in accord, put division between them. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected.
