Because you are what you eat, and you know what it is.

I come to this website every day, and at least every other day, someone (that I don't know) has sent me a message asking to "join my awesome group". This is getting on my nerves. It's impossible to block all of these guys because they just send one message. Technically, isn't this spamming?

Please fight my little dude at http://killmech.mybrute.com

Yes thats spamming, but its easy to delete your messages, just a few clicks....

Oh and yea, what you did right now can be considered spamming too....

As Achronos said, talking and whining about SPAM is also SPAM....

Cheers

Yes, but is it really that big a deal to just ignore them? Trust me (and probably the moderators and Bungie staff as well) when we tell you that if the only spammy PMs you are getting are one group invite every two days, you have it extremely easy.

Sorry if it gets on your nerves, though. I feel your pain times about 100.

Hey Reanimation, just say you don't want to join my new group dedicated to The Golden Girls tv show, you don't have to hurt my feelings with this thread.

There isn't anything that can be done. No one has control over what gets sent through PMs. I mean, aside from the person who sent them...

You should take the opportunity to screw with them. That's what I do. Get a laugh out of it while you're there.

What? Explain.

As the previous people have said, just delete the messages, if they proceed from the same user, just block them. I do agree though that it is annoying, but the solutions are simple, don't fret.

I think it means he wants to fight Foman.

Back on topic. Even if Bungie did come to a consensus that spamming group invites was a bad thing. How could they prevent it? I get lots of them, but it's just not that hard to not respond and move on.

There is a reason I am user ID 1 and my account creation date is before this site came online.

**side note: I recently got group invites from the same person 3 days apart. He sent me one...and then sent me another 3 days later. Identical messages. It made me giggle.**
