dude, you dont know who i am do you? I'm a pro, Rippon, Ripp0n, Utah Nubs, ring a bell? in halo 2 if you go to no scope someone and sweep your riticle across their head, it slows down while its on their head thus making it easier to hit them. Maby not for you because your probably a noob and dont notice it. Its the same with sniping normally on Halo 2, if your aiming at one person and another person runs in front of you, you dont aim at the person you were originally aiming at.

There is still autoaim, just a lot less.

I've tested it.

Yes it does work. More often when your hosting.

And yes, Rippon is a pro, I've watched his Montages. Trust him, sweeping a sniper scoped or not, there is a second when its more "stickyaim" if you will.

From what I can see, there is absolutely no stickiness or magnetism of the reticle when unscoped - but there is a little bit of a curve or magnetism to the bullet. You do get a slight benefit by sweeping it across the target.

Yeah I've done it too. Hes right. Guys would be rushing at me and I would sweep the sniper and get a headhsot out of nowhere.

It's not a lot, but it's there.

Technically the auto-aim only persists through if the aim recticule turns red (meaning the weapon is close enough to the enemy to get a good shot).
