Subject: The worst thing ever.

God forbid we learn something.

I'm a diligent Halo fan. I've been with the series since Combat Evolved. I got a Friends & Family invite to the beta. I'm even getting Legendary. There is but one problem standing between me and the next step towards Bungie's world domination (I speak of course of the 7/7/07 DLC.)

The problem is that I live in Houston...And I'm in London. I'll be getting home on Sunday, 2PM Bungie time. Fourteen hours late. Bungie, what am I to do?

Edit: Oh, and in a totally unrelated note, how exactly do you find your own threads/posts?

Not waste space, there are other threads whining about why they won't be here on Bungie day. We don't need another.

I'm sorry, but when the great journey begins, you will be left behind...

That doesn't really help me, though I did do a search but didn't find anything...Could have been this stupid laptop keyboard, it tends to add invisible characters in the middle of words. No idea why.

You didn't have to do a search, there are 2 of them on the front page.

According to this Bungie.net article here, Xbox Live members will only be able to download the "Bungie Day Extravaganza" content tomorrow July 7, 2007 from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM. If you will not be getting home until Sunday you will not be able to download the content unless someone can access your Xbox 360 console for you. A suggestion would be to change your local time zone from the Xbox 360 dashboard, in which some cases it may still be July 7, 2007 in that designated area.

Changing the time wouldn't help. It will go from 12 AM PDT to 11:59 PM PDT. Not to mention the content is governed my Microsoft, and will go down, everywhere, at the same time and won't get back up.

Well Enough Alone...

~"The people who play Bungie games tend to sense that there's something behind the games that's attractive to them. Then they become fans of the games. And then they become rabid fans. And then they become employees of Bungie."(Life story) -Marty

hemm.. So you wont be neer an exbox 360 or a pc at any time durring bungie day? If you are, you can log on with your account on any 360 as long as you know all the account info and password. Same with logging on to your b.net account. I don't know what time bungie day starts or ends in london. Sorry.

To find all your posts/ topics, go to search, type in your b.net account name, hit enter. If it doesn't work, you probably spelled it wrong. If you are sent to the next screen without any results, retype the name and make sure you're searching for forum-auther.
