What are the dimensions for this power supply? I need it to fit on a Dell Dimension E520. I need it to run a GeForce 860 or 7950 for Halo 2. (Hopefully thats enough for 1680x1050 on MEDIUM)http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168171520 28[Edited on 07.06.2007 8:07 PM PDT]
Some Dell and HP machines use a non standard power supply size, so store bought ones may not fit without case modding.Better do your homework before you buy one.
K, thanx. Can you name some 500watt power supplies for Dll Dimension E520? Also, try to find it less than $39.99.[Edited on 07.07.2007 2:00 PM PDT]
please! i could use some help!!!
I'm tall, white, and male. Therefore I am automatically the bad guy. This is the strangest thing to ever happen to me while playing Halo.
Not to be rude but a decent 500 watt PSU will cost more than that. All I can give is a suggestion, Hiper PSUs in my opinion are reliable and have a fair price though I have not seen a 500 watt from them. After all you don't want to ruin a good computer due to a cheap part. [Edited on 07.07.2007 6:27 PM PDT]
change that to 45.99 and below

Cheap and nasty power supply alert.
Dont listen to the nubs here, most cases use a ATX size now. (unless you got a goofy ass mini tower) the one you linked in your first post looks good. dont buy the sunbeam, looks like a petrified turd.
It works with a dell dimension E520? Oh, i also need a 6-pin PCIe cable.
you may know me as X[IGN]Posted by: Iggwilv*hands Kim a crowbar*Here you will need this to help you get your foot out of the back of your throat, looks llike its in there pretty deep. And what is that on your face? Egg?! *hands Kim a washcloth*
Do your own research, we just search google just like you should. Most likely a new PSU won't fit because it simply won't fit in the case without a little modification, again, do some reaserch.
i already googled it like crazy. i need some major help or halo 2 will be running like -blam!-.
Well as one of the "nubs" I work with POS dell and hp machines on a fairly regular basis and I can tell you that roughly 50 percent of them use one off size power supplies that are NOT your standard ATX PSU size. We have to mod the cases to make them fit... so do some research, i.e. a dell forum or even call dell.....
The computer he has uses a ATX PSU. and i said unless its one of those mini towers they usually have ATX.TBH this website is dirt -blam!- for technical advice, your better off researching the stuff on your own
