OK. i was having the same problem most of you had, it said $0.00 but when you try and download it says purchase failed. heres the solution. Go to your dashboard, go all the way over to "System" and then go to "Memory". Next, go to your Hard drive or whatever storage device you use. go to the section called "System Items" There should be things like marketplace data, and a couple other things. Delete all of the stuff in there. then, load up halo 2, go to content downloader, and it should let you download them. I have just done this and i am now playing the new maps :)

thank you, urweirdsaysi.

"Marketplace" data? Will that erase anything valuable?

no, that just gets rid of all the "History" of your downloads. trust me, thats what i have done and i still have all my demos, game pictures, and themes.

and even if it did, you can go back and download them again for free since it doesn't charge you twice.

I gotty halo 3

Yeah this doesn't work. It's marketplace Data, Rights data and something else. It all comes back when you download things from marketplace again. So it's not important.

I'd recomend that you don't do it if you've downloaded Xbox 1 content that wasn't free. For example, I downloaded the update for Star Wars Battlefront 2 which costed $4 and as soon as I did I got a new item under system items in the HDD, so deleting that might mess with your Xbox 1 content.
