No, this is bungie.net, not Xbox.com. If you want to use your Xbox Live Gamer picture, use xbox.com. And to be honest, I am against this, for that reason.

its like a large force of win going through fusion, thus creating a chain reaction of a huge asplosion of win destroying any fail within its awesomeness.

No. Not every Gamerpic is Bungie related. How awkward would it be to have a Gears of War gamerpic and have it as an avatar on the Bungie forums.

You think it got what it takes to be..?.

God forbid you send me one of those I was checking for cool gamers and saw you messages too, I will scream to the top of my lungs and smash this damn screen/BlackBerry to pieces! You've been warned -_-

Uh-uh, no.

This will raise problems.

My vote is no.

Between the Bungie-themed and approved graphics, the ability to use a Halo 2 symbol (and likely the Halo 3 symbol too) keeps all of the potential avatars tightly focused and Bungie-related.
The Lord hath spake.

I missed you, Recon.

Well that's kissing ass if I ever seen it :P.

In any case, and back on topic, might I ask what the point of this would be? Yes, we would get a larger variety of avatars, but other than that, there is nothing else that is a plus. We already have well over a 100 avatars that we can use, including the Halo 2 emblems. Oh, and just for the record, I didn't vote. I don't vote in polls.

If gamerpics were allowed, people would inevitably have GoW avatars and there would be flame-wars just over that simple fact alone. You're on a Bungie website, so use Bungie-related avatars. But I'd just like to clarify that the use of the Bungie Day 2007 Gamerpics should be allowed.

No. Linking Gamertags is good enough. Bungie avatars for Bungie.net.

I agree with your satement 100% Rokit, I also believe your Gamerpic can be taken from a Xbox Vision Cam, if that is true then that raises another giant problem.

I vote yes. Because everybody else voted no. And I like fragment sentences. Which would also make cool avatards.

You totally stole my typo ;)

Oh and if this ever did happen, I don't see how it could be an infringement of anykind, after all, Microsoft owns Bungie.

I don't see a problem. Why should people be flaming each other just because of their avatar. All that this would do is increase the variety of avatars and people would probably be a lot less identicals. There would be enough possible avatars for everyone to have their own distinct pic to call their own.

EDIT: I MANAGED TO DO IT ANYWAY!

No poll option for maybe, none or both?

Some people said this day would never come.
