I was looking into the wireless network adapter for 360 and it says fast connection blah blah, and i was wondering if it would help my lag problem, it says lots of lag has to do with bad connection(Not my case), crammed wires(yes), bent wires, long wires,-blam!- wires (YES) im running a 75 foot wire through a wall to my xbox i expect that has a lot to do with it I was just wondering if any one has one wireless network adapter, if they could tell me if it works better, some details ect.

Thank you, and I appreciate it,
Logan

my other account, if you are gonna send me an FR, send it to this account and my Main GT.

if you are wireless maybe your router sucks. also, make sure your NAT is Open, not strict or moderate

Look up in the sky.......It's the Flamer. He can use any symbol he wants. You think no one else has yours?

I don't care if they have mine, I didn't copy it off of one of the 4 kids in Final Boss the MLG06 TS champs.

Forward ports
UDP 88
UDP 3074
TCP 3074
to your xbox from your router. Go to www.portforward.com to learn how. (Sorry, I'm lazy and don't feel like looking up the link code...heh)

Logan, chances are if your router is that far away from your xbox, a wireless adapter will end up making your connection worse. Are websites loading in a reasonable time? I'm assuming they are, but if not, call your ISP. Now, do you have a TV and short network cable by your modem/router? If so, try using different cables. Your network cable might have split wires in it. If you still lag, you either have a bad modem, a bad router, or a bad ISP. If that fixed the problem, buy some new network cables and rewire them.

If that didn't fix the problem, try using a direct connection. Plug your xbox directly into your modem. Then play another game. If that fixed the problem, you need a new router. If not, it might be time to give your ISP a call.

Long and bent wires shouldn't be a major cause for lag. I am running a 50ft cable from my router into a hub, then a 50ft cable from the hub to my xbox. I rarely have any lag issues (assuming the host for the game isn't terrible.)

Hopefully i typed this out well enough for you to understand since I'm about to run out the door. If not, feel free to pm me and i can do my best to help you out.

QUICK EDIT: Reread your post real quick and just thought I'd tell you that the wireless adapter was terrible for me. I had to go through 2 walls and that alone basically killed my signal. I'd avoid using one if at all possible.
