well the linksys one only gives you 11Mbps and it's like 40 bucks. link

the official xbox one gives you 54Mbps and it's a 109 bucks link

or you could get a nicer linksys used one for like 60 bucks that does the same as the xbox one 54Mbps link

If you are playing live you don't want to use wireless. Wired is the best possible connection.
Where is the xbox in comparison to the router in your house?

wireless can be almost as good. me and my brother can both play wireless at the same time with no lag. don't get the cheaper adapter. with the linksys adapter you may have to turn off your firewall if you don't have a linksys router. the xbox adapter and the higher end xbox adapter are basically the same, just don't cheap out and buy the 11 mbps one, buy the 54 mbps. you'll be glad you did

Well, i would just get a cable but guess what, my Xbox is in my room which is at one end of the house and my router and computer is on the other side, so the cable would have to go out of my room, into the hallway, into the family room, and then across another hallway and into the computer room and into the corner where the router is sooo i dont have a choice of a cabled connection

Im not sure, there are too many cables for me to follow, especially because the computer is on a desk which is pushed up like right against a wall
let me pull some stuf away
mmmm....
OK, so there is a cable going from the computer to the router but it is also wireless, so the router is connected to PC but is also wireless to laptops but that means my Xbox cant do wireless i guess....

Hey umm what about this ,Linksys BEFCMUH4, i dont know how to make a Link of it but look it up on Amazon

RIP Halo 2.

Use a hardwired ethernet cable. The cable can be easily wired through walls/floors, is extremely inexpensive, and is going ot be faster and always more reliable than a wireless connection for the Xbox.
