Steam: RageRunner32 | StarCraft II: RageRunner | Lets play Pc sometime :)

<3

Part of me is just curious to what the average Maw goer's Pc can do, and another part is wanting to compare my rig with those who have H2V to see if I can have a similar experiance. Here's mine:

Operating System: Vista Home Premium
Processor: P4 3.0Ghz
Memory: 2Gb DDR Pc2700
Video Card: Radeon X1950 GT
Hard Drive: 400Gb Western Digital

So what's yours?

Vista Ultimate
AMD Athlon 64 3700+
2GB OCZ PC3200 2-3-3-6
ATI Radeon X800XL
75GB Western Digital

darth needs a new CPU & Video Card.

Thinking around the lines of an X2 3800+ and an 8800GTS 320MB

Yeah, I'm on the lower end. And not Vista.

Quick question: I'm in need of a good notebook video card, at least 128mb of memory to play Halo 2 as my current one doesn't hold up. If anyone has any suggestions, be my guest.

You can't just pop in a new video card at will. If you had a notebook that was capable you would have bought it for that reason or you would at least know about it. Sorry.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

Vista Ultimate 32-bit
MSI K8N Master 2 Far (s940, nforce4, SLI)
Dual Opteron 256s (3.1ghz)
4x 512mb registered DDR433 (2-3-2-6, 1T)
7900gtx SLI

I run H2 @1280x1024 with 2x AA, and use single gpu mode and get pretty good performance. For MP, I turn AA off.

Here's my little inexpensive system I put together for less than $600.

OS: Vista Business
Case: COOLER MASTER Elite 330 RC-330-KKN1-GP Black SECC ATX Mid Tower
Power Supply: COOLER MASTER eXtreme RP-500-PCAR ATX from factor 12V V2.01 500W
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ Windsor 2.8GHz Socket AM2 Processor Model ADA5600CZBOX
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-M57SLI-S4 Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI MCP ATX AMD
Memory: Patriot Extreme Performance 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
Video: XFX PVT84JUDD3 GeForce 8600GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card

This combination runs Halo 1 at between 150 and 200fps with everything on high, and Halo 2 campaign and Live run with no lag at all.

Lol unless you learn how to solder in another card, and learn how to steal it from somewhere.

Actually I'm sure a couple of you have heard about the external PCI x16 connector for laptops they're coming out with soon for the desktop-replacement notebooks.... should help a lot.
