In many areas I agree with you man. I would like to state that Halo 2 is still better then other games out there. But it pails in comparison to H1. I played H1 hardcore for 3 years. I worked at a game store & probably sold 1000 H1 copies & 1000 H2 preorders. It kind of sucks that it was all in vain. Bungie kind of forgot about the people that helped take Halo to the next level. The original fans. The guys that kept tournaments going for 3 years. I don't understand their reasoning of trying to take everyone's past skill away.Grenades are way to toned down. The banshee is a ridiculous addition. Mid range weapons are a laugh. There is so many hiding spots on a map that if you are in a midrange battle people can hide over & over & over. I was playing a guy the other day that had never played the Xbox Halo & is already leading the leader board. Hmm 3 weeks and your elite? The choices of gamemodes is stupid. I have lost a couple of games online for stupid reasons such as swords ONLY, shotguns ONLY, & the same stupid Bomb assault that is ruining everyones stats because it is way to easy to defend. I have seen more ties than wins or loses. Ties mean losses which is -blam!-. I wish Bungie would have consulted many of the true H1 fans while making H2 & not forget about them.

I agree that Halo 1 required more skill. Any noob can kill you practically by just getting dual whatever which doesnt require skill. I also like the physics in halo 1 a lot better than halo 2

Read the rules! The N word is not allowed, and this is NOT the place for you to -blam!- about Halo 2!

My patience is wearing very thin.

I'm also a little outraged at H2 in many ways. Like Teet I played for probably 3 years, became decently elite, and now I'm semi noob on H2. WTH? Only way your getting a kill is if your teammates are shooting the guy or you have one of two good weapons that a worth a crap (rocks and snip), Wth is up with the battle rifle? The damn carbine is better than it and the battle rifle was supposed to replace the best weapon on H1. THat's bullcrap. You shoot a person get them blinking, then they hide, and ohh guess what, there health is full. Yep I'd say that's about what the pistol did. Everyone loved the pistol bungie why do you destroy it then not make up for it some how? I have many friends who got rid of there box and halo because there's no pistol. True to your fans you are not. Also oddball has some rediculous spawns. Your idiots in where the beginning spawns are. Make them more even please. DOwnloads please to improve these things.

The carbine is exaclty the same as the pistol, and all the maps have tons of hiding spaces to fill your shield and have full health. camping is easier for snipers and vehicle whores cause you start with an smg, which isnt good at anything unless its being duel wilded. The sniper rifle no longer can kill anyone in a tank, as the cockpit is closed now, the vehicles's health is the same as your health, vehicles always explode in the same way, the sword is the most annoying weapon I have ever seen, and theres no promised ATV, which handles perfectly in the video on the bonus disk. The levels are all HUGE, so theres no point for anyone who doesnt have live, or doesnt have 16 friends who are always home.

I personally bought Halo:CE the mobth it came out and got relatively "l337" as well. But I don't see why people who were good players in the first game are saying they aren't as good now. All these problems you've been having with noobs are pretty easy to counter, and I rarely dual wield. I do agree with everyone that the lock-on feature is cheap and doesn't really require that much skill other than holding the trigger. I miss the days where I would have to carefully lead my rocket aim ahead of moving warthogs to hit them, and then when I made a hit my team would go wild because it was such a wild shot. But now when I do something like that it's just like "Oh you hit him from across the map with the lock-on, anyone can do that."

Though unlike the rest of you Halo veterans I don't mind the death of the Pistol at all, I love the new magnum.

I think h2 is great. It doesnt matter if anyone recharge their shield. If you cant kill a "noob"
with full shields then you just suck. No offense. Besides, empty your single smg in someones head and they die. Ive killed lotsa people with only 1 weapon.

* Halo 1= Skill * Halo 2= Some skill after the update * Halo 3= Lets hope it doesn't need a fix for Non-NOOBS…

1,095 days of creation...
730 days of anticipation...
300 days of preorder....
5,000,000 copies sold...
250,000,000 plus dollars made...
ONE HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT… this is Halo 2 ...

Here is the difference:

In Halo 1, the dominant player could always kill 1 moderate skilled player.

If he was really good, he could kill 2 players coming at him at once.

If he was kicking ass, he could kill 3 at once.

If he was on fire or had a lucky streak, he could kill 5 vs 1.

In Halo 2. If a player is really good or just lucky, he can kill 1 player.

If he is god almighty at halo2 or one lucky son of a -blam!-, he can kill 2 at once.

Before, no matter what weapon your opponent came at you with, you at least had some small chance of killing him.

Now, without quite a bit of luck, you don't stand a chance if you spawn and someone attacks you with any other weapon combo other than what you have.

It took skill to aim accurately; in "Spraylo 2", you better pray.

I think it extremely funny about how much people complain about this game, Enjoy the game and quit bitc*ing and learn how to play in different ways. Sure Halo 1 was great, but if think about it, no matter what bungie did to create Halo2 there still people like you guys crying about stuff. Give them some credit. i like too see you make halo 3 and then we could bitc* about your game. If you really don't like Halo2 go back to halo 1. Sorry i sound harsh but it getting tiresome of all i see is people saying that H2 didn't live up too there exceptations, when they were the ones, creating the the ideal halo 2 in their heads waiting for it too come out
