The following is constructive criticism
I didnt enjoy it as much as the various pieces this was obviously taken from (warthog run at end of Halo:CE credit music from Halo 2 and Anouncment trailer for Halo3) it didnt give me the shiver up my back like Halo:CE's or Halo 2 or even the Anouncment trailer did, it was too high, not enough bass for being Halo music, and far far too much treble, my ears are actually sore now after listening to it.
Flame me if you will, but its my honest opinion
I realize that this was constructive criticism, and I respected your opinion until the point where you said, '"not enough bass for being halo music'". How can you possibly say that when Marty IS the original composer of the music? As far as we should be concerned, Marty's interpretation of the emotion felt through the various events in gameplay IS the Halo music. He composed the original score as well as all scores following the initial one. So with this selection we we able to download, this is coming from the same guy that put music and emotion into the game. So I'm sure that everything performed in the selection was composed as well as compiled for a specific purpose Marty wanted to achieve. So in this specific case, I'm willing to venture that Marty excluded heavy bass because the emotion could not properly be achieved if there was.
