if you wanna get better, DON'T play MLG. period.

also, playing for a 2 weeks on insane then dropping the look sensitivity down to 5-7 won't hurt either.

You're a total idiot. MLG customs are the easiest way to get better, especially when you play with people who are good. You should experiment with different sensitivities until you fin one you're the most comfortable at. Stick with it and perfect it. Switching around to some absurdly high sensitivity is just going to throw you off.

I agree with Homey G. Having friends a little bit better than you is good. Also, you need to get good at FFA games. that will help you in a stressed situation during MM. Another way to get better is play custom games every once and a while usually to warm up, or if you just got owned by the other team. it will help you unwind and recollect yourself for your next MM. if you want to join my friends list i am BlueMonkey99.

PS: if you want to join KSI EXPICIT XS send KSI Pr1m3 T1m3a message/invite.

I started to write a guide awhile ago about places to train certain skills in campaign. It worked well for me when I needed to get good at a certain skill.

This was the basic idea:

Let say you want to get better at throwing grenades accurately. Think of a campaign level that always have grenades around(so a large supply) play that level on normal or easy(not heroic or legendary because they can cause bad habits in some cases I found.*) and try to only kill the bad guys with grenades and a bit of follow up fire to finish off survivors.

Training on levels with elites give you the best practice with dealing with opponents shields.

*When I tried on legendary (and sometimes heroic) I found I would start you hide more and get stuck in the classic shoot-hide-recharge shield loop most legendary players do. You want to not be challenged with surviving. if you are you cannot concentrate on other skills properly. Train on easy or normal which ever one you can confidently playing without dieing ever. If you find yourself getting bored, try mixing things up by jumping into packs of enemies. Manoeuvring your aim around in close range will make you much better at reacting to threats.

I hope ths helps.

I think u should play against people with the same skills as you or against players who are just a little bit better than you. Play a lot of hardcore, h2 challenge and custom games. I also think that you should'n focus on learning every spot from ervery single map because you automatically learn them when you just play enough. This is how I became a better player.

I agree that's the best way you can get better.

Well, Ive been following a lot of everyones advice and Ive gotten a little better. Took first in my first FFA, but still have a long way to go. Figure I'll do Rumble Pit till I do pretty good often then go look for the harder matches in H2 and hook up with people for team matches whn I can communicate.

Thank you all again. I was quite happy getting first in something other than CTF. (As often as I die, may as well do suicide runs for the flag lol)
