Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

If you already have friends isn't it much easier? Do you mean a clan for Halo 1 or Halo 2? If it's Halo 1, you just agree with your friends to make a clan and that's it. In TUI, we all wear a tag before our names, like mine is «TUI»nodey, so people know what clan we're in. If you mean Halo 2, I think you can start a clan through your Live friends list and invite all your friends to join. I'm not sure, though :(

Join the MAW Clan

My Real Avatar

Requirements:

1.) Website or forums where you can meet and organize

2.) A dedicated server so you can set password and control the mapcycle

3). People you trust to help run it.

4.) A name and tag

BTW Happy Birthday MAW~Clan! We are now a year old. The clan website officially opened July 13th of last year. Has it really only been a year? I felt like I've been in this clan for a couple years now.

All though you may be sort of right, it's not as simple as it seems. =/ Joining a clan might be quite simple, but if you have to run everything, oh man, that's a killer. Like Igg said, you have to have a dedicated website (w/ forums), a server (optional I guess, but recommended), etc. etc. Not to mention you have to keep track of everything. My clan is pretty much on "pause" right now; with work and everything, I just can't hold it all together at the moment.

Slaying noobs since 2007.

Yep, so cool. But yet, so distant. And so hard!

Better to die on your feet then live on your knees!

Time for your PissTest.

You will need a voice program, make sure your members can talk in game using ventrilo or teamspeak with a headset or mic
to make comms so much better, will also be great for just hanging out to setup games.

Cal league is open for clans to register for 4 more days before the roster locks on 7/17/07, H2V is not like halo 2 xbox for clans, you must make a clan and join a league if you want solid teamplay.

www.caleague.com

Granted, you could be a scrim only team and use in game voice but then all the other teams can hear your comms and nobody plays very hard for scrims.

Wow, so many approaches to creating a clan :(
