Hi, I'm considering upgrading from an ATI Radeon X1300 PCI to an ATI Radeon X1550 PCI.

So if the X1550 going to give me better performance? If so, by how much? Thanks.

Ok, stop and think for two seconds about what your asking. You're asking if a more powerful video card (although there's much better cards...) will give you better performance.

We can't tell you how much of a difference it's going to make. Mostly because we don't have the exact same computer as you do. Just go try it for yourself.

Thanks TUI. Shut the -blam!- up other dude, I know that PCI-e is better, but I'm stuck with PCI.

My specs right now are 1 Gig of RAM, a Pentium 4 2.4 ghz processor, and 160 Gigs of HD space. And of course the X1300.

Yea. What Brand is your PC? And if you can tell us what model it is that might help too.

You little tard. You come to this forum and ask for help, recieve a legitimate response and you freak out about it?

If you want to get a decent video card then you're going to have to switch to PCI-e. Saying "Shut the -blam!- up" when someone points that out is childish to the extreme.

GTFU or GTFO. (That means "Grow the -blam!- up or get the -blam!- out" in case you're really as stupid as I think you are.)

Slaying noobs since 2007.

Your on a roll today Obi-wan, saw that spammer you got earlier, (I envy you!), but to the op, he's right, besides Halo2Vista didn't say anything other than move to a better mobo with better performance.

Processor =/= Motherboard

You can't tell what slots he has based off of the CPU. And to the other guy, he may have a home built computer.

Well, you'd be irritable too if you were stuck with PCI. >>

Yeah, I'll check for a black slot on the mobo, thanks for the advice...I just don't think there'll be one. This thing is a 2001 HP computer that's not only limited to 1 Gig of RAM, but it won't even let me expand the processor. It's a piece of crap that I hope to replace someday soon.
