.I personally use it. I read somewhere that it has something to do with how your brain works, but I think it's just how you played first..

RIP Halo 2.

Yes, I played so much Goldeneye and Perfect Dark (both of which were inverted by default) that I'm not capable of playing any other way.

I used to play alot of plane and jet games when I was little and the Inverted controls just stuck with me. I also played alot of goldeneye.

Yep. Same here.

The first truly 1st-person perspective games were flight sims. I remember playing Falcon on the Atari ST. And they were only inverted.

Basically, I've been playing inverted for long before any games came out that weren't inverted by default.

I used to be default when I first got an xbox but then I started playing a lot of Morrowind and I didn't know how to change the look inversion (and the default setting was inverted) so I taught myself how to play inverted.

Yup. Goldeneye and Timesplitters have warped my mind so that I up should look down. I also play Boxer.

im inverted. But i usually don't play any other games where the default is inverted. In halo 1 i wasn't inverted either. Its kind of weird.

I use inverted all the time, except when I scope in with the sniper then I am all jacked up.

HALO 2 will rule 4ever. It is Halo and it is enougth. Thanks Bungie, our life will never be the same.

I started to paly default then in Halo CE I played Heroic and Legendary in inverted and only later i discovered that i could change that for default and now i play default.

I don't. There must be some reason behind why people take a preference to one or the other. I think google will be able to assist me with that.

Hmm, What it seems like is the younger kids (post N64) or kids who have never owned a N64 would be more Default controller setting. And the older kids, (around for Flight Sim., and Goldeneye, along with other great games, are used to inverted. I guess I'm somewhere in the middle, Specifically remembering asking for the N64 for my birthday when it just came out. Now I don't know the ages of everyone who voted, this is just an educated guess. I guess my inversion comes from Goldeneye. I did have this weird experience once though. My friend leaves his 360 at my house sometimes, because he doesn't have live anymore. I decided to play on the 360 due to faster loading times, AND I WAS HORRIBLE! The only way I could play normally was Default. It was the weirdest thing. That was the ONLY time I've EVER played default, and I went back to inverted when I switched back to my Xbox. Every other time I played on that system I was inverted. It was the weirdest thing.

Ahhh, yes I remember back in the old days when I was eight or nine I would play Perfect Dark with my dad, that must be where the inversion in me came from:) I CANNOT PLAY DEFAULT IN HALO.

I played a lot of Goldeneye as a kid, plus I'm studying for my pilot license now, so I'm just used to inverted.

Inverted.

I played a lot of Goldeneye back in the day, and now it's wired into my head to play inverted.
