I think most people here will have beaten it on Legendary... well not most of them but quite a few. yeah i hope that the Halo 2 keeps the difficulties too.

I just finished doing it about a week ago actually. I had the most trouble with The Library. I'd die in the first 30 seconds...hehe...but as soon as I got a shotgun, it was payback time.

ok...I beat Halo on legendary...I was just being sarcastic. Anyway, the hardest part for me was T&R. And not in the part that you might think. Before boarding the T&R is where I found the most of my problems. If you didn't execute that part perfectly, you were screwed.

Play as a team win as a team or die as a team!

Yeah I beat Halo on Legendary in and it only took me the summer to finish it like June 25 to like July 28 I thought the hardest level was Halo becoz where u first meet the Marines they all died and I just had to run away and pop up on Hills and shoot the dam Elites it takes like 40 Pistol shots or so to kill them!! The Library was easy to me I don't know why but it was for some reason. And I did it all by myself not with Co-op mode like some of u Halo fans do try it by yourself!!!

Yeah that was true becoz it u mess up u have no back up and once u enter the Covenant Ship u get Jumped and u have like not that much armor but once u start to walk around the ship it gets easier but when u enter the Ship Dock there is like enemies above behind and in front of u so u need to do something fast!!

I agree, I beat it along time ago on Legendary. And now Legendary is what I play on most of the time.

after somebody has had halo for a maximum of 2 months, they MUST HAVE BEAT HALO on legendary. If not, we should force them to play (no more "But im scarde of the library") JK, but i think most people who post on bungie.net have beat legendary.

On level Halo on ledgendary when the covenant try's to drop their troops, instead of waiting for them I take the fight to them. As soon as the doors open, I pop the grunts, throw grenades@ the elites and jackles.....and charge up the plasma pistol and take out their sheilds and -blam!- them with the pistol

T&R was actually fairly easy for me. The part right before you bord the ship was actaully alot of fun because I had all my marines and we went in and killed the guys right at the beggining but then my marined died. Then the ship came in for reinforcment and gave me 5 more. So i just stood on the teleporter with my marienes and when the cevenent came down it would be caos. And suprizingly I have 4 marines left when the hunters came! Prob was the funnest time I ever had.

I've only had an Xbox since Christmas 2002, and I got Halo with it, so maybe I'm behind most of you, but I've beaten Halo on all four difficulties (Easy, Normal, Heroic and Legendary) twice, then I realized that Legendary presents the only challenge, so I play exclusively on Legendary now. After 11 times, Legendary becomes Normal. If you use strategy in every step of the game, there are fewer hard parts.

I hate everything, but it's not my fault.

I couldn't beat it on Legendary until I jacked up my sensitivity, so it took me a long time :(

Whole game, beginning to end, no deaths, human weapons only, saving all but 8 marines, and doing it in under 14 hours safely.

hmm i never bothered myself with the time because i usually played the entire game on legendary over a few days a couple of hours at a time. however i still remember when i forst got halo 2 on its release date i played nonstop for about 18 hours (remember this was on normal on my first time playing) and i think that everyones first time took quite a while

My computer is in a flux... sometimes high-end graphics run fine, other times, the game runs twice as slow... so I have delays. Once I fix this, I'm going to go through the game and finish the difficulties.

i think the most fun i have ever had was on T&R when i had fifteen marines on legendary because i didn't let a single one die and i kept running ahead and causing the game to give me reinforcements, then we went to the teleporter where the guys dropped down and rocked the covenant like a hurricane when the hunters where killed i still had all fifteen marines, now when you can do that you can say your a a hard core halo fan, or if you have never been beaten ina one on on e mutliplayer game

One of the harder parts when I went through on Legendary was in Halo when you get to the first base and the Covenant dropships just keep coming and coming... Most of my marines died right away, and I ended up having to face 7 elites, 12 grunts, and a jackal with about forty pistol bullets, three plasma grenades, and a battery of about 30 on my plasma pistol. After some guerilla-style sniping, I had to take on three elites, who all knew where I was, with nothing but fifteen pistol bullets. That wasn't pleasant. When you're finally standing over the dead body of the last enemy in the area, though, the difficulty makes it worth it. Sense of accomplishment and all that.

i beat it a lon imte ago and it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO easy. the hardest lvl was T&R when you first get inside that ship (im dumb fortaking an AR in there....) and the library or the silent cartographer was the easiest (i never died at all in the SC). my main combo for the first 5 levels was AR and plasma pistol, afeter that it was shotgun the whole time.

Beat it like a dead horse! And I DID beat it by myself, but I do admit it was after I beat it with my friend on Legendary. :( I don't know if that makes me less of a Spartan for beating it with a friend first, or more of a Spartan for admitting it. Not sure. My hardest level was Maw. Not the first part where you get to run around blowing people and ships up with the Rocket Launcher. . .Mmm. . .Boom. . .but the part when you have to drive like a bat out of hell. I hate driving in the game unless it's a Banshee, Ghost, or Scorpion tank. So, I guess everything but the Warthog. It must be the fact that you ONLY drive with that and don't get to shoot anything. I just kept running into pillars or miscalculating jumps. I'd much rather be in the gunner's seat blowing Covies, Flood, an Sentry droids out of the way. Much better at that.
