Wouldn't it be awesome to see these 2 maps on the console version?
They look amazing, at least much better than the 2 remakes we received earlier this year. They're great and all; I'm not saying we don't have enough already. It's not like it's "unfair" for us not to have these 2 new ones either.
I was just thinking, how many more sales of H2V is Microsoft getting just because of these 2 maps? I don't feel that the 2 maps are worth buying Vista and the game to play. The people buying it are probably just hardcore Halo 2 fans or people who have Vista anyway and are looking for something to do with it. That's just speculation though, their marketing obviously knows something we don't.
Plus, if Halo 2's console population is going to drop massively in the next 3 months, is there much hope for the Vista version? I've heard that the population is low right now anyway compared to Halo 1. Would District and Uplift significantly sell the PC version when Halo 3 arrives for the 360? It'd just be awesome, even if extremely late, that these 2 maps came to the console. I just don't feel that their being Vista exclusive is selling the game. People were complaining about 4 bucks being too much for new maps, I don't think many are rushing to pay a few hundred for a new operating system and the game.
So do you think it is possible?
