Wow this is the third time i have posted about this...it keeps happening and its pissing me off...i have re-downloaded the maps 3 times
i have gone to the dashboard(360) 10 times and and performed maintenance.(press X X LB RB XX). Does this mean i have to delete my maps entirely and re-download them again?

if everything isnt working the way you want it to, then it would be a good idea.

Is it an update issue or a map issue?

Well what happens is...When you put halo 2 in and after the whole start up menu and you sign in it says there is a new update. So then you download it and after the start up menu you sign in and then a message appears saying "the content you have downloaded is damaged. Please Try to download again later."
So pretty much its both an update and map issue because the update deletes your map cache.

The update (the one within the past week or so) isn't a Halo 2 update. It's a backwards compatibility update. Bungie would have told us if there were an update for MM. I would suggest calling 1-800-4MY-XBOX.

Kaplowee!

Try deleting all of your map packs, then redownloading them all.

My friend and I did this, and everything worked fine after.
