Slaying noobs since 2007.

You put it in the map directory right?

yeah, i unzipped it, and extracted the .map file to the map directory, and it said that this disk is full or write-protected and then it told me how to supposedly fix the problem, and none of those directions, along with my own, my grandfather's, and my uncle's who works @ MS. nothing made it work. if you can help, or you know where i can receive help, please let me know.

Step 1: Learn every Asian language fluently.
Step 2: Call Microsoft tech support.
Step 3: Scream in random, alternating AZN babble until you are enlightened.

Go here then.
And ask for UXB's help, or any other of the kind folks over there.
UXB, where are you when we need you???

yeah, my uncle is one of those tech support guys, he works in redmond @ MS HQ, and he trained all of those asian speaking guys that you yelled @. thanks for the advice, though. i talked to him first, and hes the last guy in the chain of command (besides gates). if someone has a question, they go to him. i guess he couldnt answer this question, though. again, thanks for the help.

Ok it sounds like your trying to put it in the halo CD not the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\HaloCustomsedition\maps .

Make sure thats were you are putting your maps.

But if you are putting it in the directory then it sounds as if your Hardrive may be full, if so try uninstalling some stuff or deleting some older custom maps.

But i think your just trying to put the maps on the CD not in the directory. Try everything i told you and then get back to us.

Edit:

ill do it in steps.

1: Make sure your putting them in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\HaloCustomsedition\maps.
2: if you are putting them there then see if your hardrive is full.
2.1: If it is full uninstall or delete some games and or remove some older custom maps if you have any.
3: If all fails, try reinstalling Halo Pc and Ce
