I have played on XBl 1 time and my first rumble pit match was on Lockout. The first person I saw was coming towrd me then I BXR'ed. He said" Awww you cheater!!!!" Is BXR cheating?
Bungie says its cheating but pretty much everyone does it.

I have a strong stand on this. I will sometimes, when feeling up to the challenge play MLG matches and use just a carbon. I once came first and it sure was funny to see me beat about four of them. It is cheating but a lot of people do it. I learn't how to do it but I only do it when someone starts to use it on me.
According to bungie it is classified as system manipulation which is used to gain an unfair advantage over other players and is therefore considered cheating.
my other account, if you are gonna send me an FR, send it to this account and my Main GT.
i don't view it as cheating because when i was introduced to it a few years back it was looked at as a cool and efficient way to kill. I never even thought of it as cheating until i joined these forums in april 07 and i saw alot of people ( who i thought of as n00bs ) who said bxr and rrx were cheating. bottom line, it depends on where you play. on xbl it is technically cheating but you can't be banned. if you go to a tournament or or play LAN it is up to whoever is hosting.[Edited on 07.17.2007 11:15 PM PDT]
Short and simple: If you BXR someone in Matchmaking, or use any other glitch (button or bounce), you are cheating.
