I am sorry to make this huge bump, but this would be pretty useful for anyone not knowing what the Debug Menu does.
For the people that are lazy, the objects placed on the map loaded in Sapian, will NOT be compiled into the scenario, it will simply not appear in the map. Also objects referenced in the Debug Menu (Like the drop object function for the FLOOD JUGGERNAUT.) are not in the tags folder because Pi Studios didn't give us a proper tag set to use. Almost all tags that are in all the Halo 2 default maps, are not in the tags folder. So we cant do, basically, anything.
Even the Halo 2 Map Editior help file lied to us, those files it said was there? Not there. What about the Tools? Are they any better? Take a look at GBX and PI Studios.
GBX had great tools, and with a little help, they turned out to be better than ever. With Guerilla, you could make any tag and edit any tag. With Sapian, you could edit almost everything. And with Tool....well....you know where I'm trying to go.
Pi Studios gave us some.......primitive tools. No debugging feature in Halo? Thats a no no.
Sapian that cant compile scripts? No AI? Nada. Completely striped down of its greatness.
What about Guerilla? Almost no capability of making new tags and editing tags. The first Guerilla had more tag making and editing features than this Guerilla anytime.
And Tool....Hell, the first tool was better than this. It had more commands than this tool ever had.
What I am trying to say, is that Pi Studios gave us some crappy tools to work with.
We should of let GBX handle this......
