Technically it's cheating. But button glitches should be an exception to the rule that "all glitches used to your advantage are cheating". Because they add depth, unlike superjumps, dummy glitched (in the past), secondary standby (in the past), modding, the new network glitching, tossing the objective through a wall, those all kill the fun and any feel of fair competition. They are cheating.
But the people on these forums and everywhere who get smashed by button combos, don't look at it correctly. For instance it should be "wow he double shotted me that was pretty sick" (i respect people who can double shot), they think what a noob that was so nub, that took no skill, i should have won. Or if you get BxRed, then maybe you shouldn't have rushed him?
The problem here is not the opponents button "glitches", but that you the player didn't look within to see why you got outplayed. You look for any reason possible to not change your play style, to adapt, to improve. Instead you look for excuses like "it was a noob combo, anyone can do it". Then what's your excuse for whenever you missed the noob combo and got killed? What's below a noob? Are you now a rock?
The problem is not the button combos, or noob combos, or host shotty whores. It's just you, putting yourself in stupid positions and not recognizing it.
