My last thread: Why Reach Sucks

The logic following it's a "glitch", not a glitch and it-won't-get-me-banned-so-HA!, is the same logic that follows that of:
This is against the law, but it's not a felony!

Yes i think it should be an exception because we all use it, and it makes it more intense. Using whatever you can to win, within sportsmanlike boundaries. Kind of like doing 40 in a 30mph zone.

You shouldn't have to change your playstyle because of cheaters.

You're 100% correct there.

It's a shame nothing can be done.

Note: Reiterating the fact that we're discussing glitches that are exploited online. *winks to Ninjas*

Crap, I made a post but I guess it didn't show up :-/

Well, I don't feel like typing that much right now LOL so I'll try to sum up what I said:

Button Combos are cheating. That's a given, as per the terms of use. If you think you've been cheated, leave Feedback, that's all you can do.

If you don't condone glitching, stay out of Hardcore/MLG customs. Otherwise, it has become a part of the meta-game. People are going to button glitch if they know how, and there's nothing that can be done about that, as Bungie isn't going to patch it (too many loose strings.)

Basically, it's here to stay. If you don't like it, you certainly don't have to use them. But if you play certain lists, you're going to encounter them, so you can either adapt to it and try to avoid them in game, or do them youself. Otherwise, there's feedback, and that's about it.

i can BXR and i can Double Shoot but i choose not to because it's unfair gameplay, it's cheating. Cheating is anything in the game that gives a player an unfair advantage. Do that -blam!- in a custom game but when it comes to matchmaking it's not fair game.

I think you're oversimplifying the situation by using that broad statement.
