In my opinion, Bungie would be the most foolish people ever to grace the entertainment industry if they didn't make Halo 3, what with how Halo 2 ended and how popular the series is. I personally think they should seperate this one onto 2 DVDs - Campaign and Multiplayer. That way, not only could they finally have bots in multiplayer (15 would suffice to fill the slots missing when not playing with other people, and would lead to insanity! And possibly the return of Sidewinder, that would be cool because that map ruled!), but they could also extend the story and make the levels even more insane (improvements in the AI, increasing amounts of enemies and better enemies in higher difficulties, and maybe about 50% more enemies in co-op, just a few things I would've liked).
There could also be some multiplayer tasks and such, similar to what they had in Perfect Dark or Timesplitters 2, whereby you could unlock certain things (like leaving it so there is little to do in multiplayer unless you do them, though I can see this making problems in X-Box Live, but that could be solved by the person who is the furthest along unlocking everything they have and temporarily unlocking it for the other people involved until they leave the game), or by doing things in the Campaign you could unlock them (but not all of them of course), and the higher difficulties in the campaign result in more being unlocked (and longer levels as well).
Anyway, I think that's about all I thought Halo 2 was missing (major things anyway, most of the tweaks Bungie will no doubt fix anyway). Oh, by the way, the soundtrack was fantastic, more of the same, more dramatic and mysterious ones.
