The End

‘The conscious is cancerous if allowed to linger’

"Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there."

Okay well this is totally 100% random. What do you think the best replacement for [hr] is when writing posts? For those of you that don't know [hr] was a BB code removed from bungie.net, it allowed users to draw a long horizontal line across posts to spread out bits of info. Like [color] it was abused and used excessively meaning it was subsequently removed. I would love to see it back but until then we need alternatives, here is mine I pinched it from Bornswavia :-p

OR
You see it works efficiently for sprerading out info. Post your ideas or just campaign for [hr] lol, that would be a lot easier!

In before excessive use and subsequent 'no empty quote boxes' rule.
Also, remember that the quote feature now adds a blank space afterwards automatically.

How about "_ , etc."?
It is hard to get it right. Here is an example -

_____________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________

OR
_____________________________________________________________ ________________

OR
_____________________________________________________________ __

Also notice after a certain number of _ it puts in an automatic space so it sucks. It does this if you put in too much of anything except letters and numbers I think...

Why was the [hr] code removed? I can understand why [color] was, but, horizontal lines can be highly useful at times. It's perfect for those who like to contribute posts that have good presentation.

I've also noticed that other text formatting BB codes do not work like, [s], [sub], [sup] and [border]. These, I reckon, are perfectly legitimate formatting techniques that, in no way, spoil an appearance of a post as would different colours; they should be allowed to be used.

I haven't tried text aligning codes either, like [center], [right] and [justify], but they also, probably, do not work. It's a shame. They should include them.

I meant "_ , etc." literally. For example...

Here is one idea.

_, etc.

Here is another.

There are MANY that would be useful that aren't implemented. Honestly, there are very very limited options for pretty much everything on this forum. Giving us the ability to format our text the best we can would make me happy.
List of BB Code's I feel should be implemented
* [code]
* [right]
* [left]
* [center]
* [justified]
* [size]
* [sup]
* [hr]
* [pre] (preformatted text, like text with spaces to make it wider, IE e x a m p l e, but with more than one space)

This is not Word.exe.
This is a forum; you'd be lucky to get [code], let alone anything else.
And you can just paste sub- and superscript in from Word.

S3NATOR has brilliantly taken the next philosophical and theoretical step, and advanced mankind once more. For that, I'm forever grateful.

*lollernadoes*

I was wondering what happend to the page break code we used in the past. I needed something like this a while back. Looks like the quote thing will work fine.

And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven stone from stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight corners of the World. The moon was blood, and the sun was as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.

Foman is just pointing out that you made a mistake, and that we should all know about it.

Actually Foman made a mistake. Also he is being a bit of a twit if he expectc me to remember all my posts and search back for all my topics. Why did he even bump it.

Sorry Foman but this time you failed to be a smart ass. Not trying to insult you or start an argument just saying you bumped a topic and blammed me for it and said I was in the wrong. Your fault not mine.
