in the video i thaught that when he destroyed the ghost with the BR it was way to easy. It only took a few shots to blow it up comeone, how will vehicles last in MP if they go that Easy (unless...there are tons of them.... duh, duh, duhhhh)

I think it isn't destroyed that quickly, I think the one that blew up was already damaged

yeah it took 2 rockets to blow up the warthog in the demonstration. But there have been a couple of articles that said they didn't like how easy it was...and that they hope bungie fixes it

when he shot the ghost he shot it in key areas like when the wing blew of he shot the area that became exposed. When you playing with mutiple people and ghosts are whizzing by you im sure its not that easy.

Well the guy shot the ghost with a zoomed in BR which is supposed to do a lot of damage when its zoomed. Plus i think its a good thing that will keep newbs from doing nothing but whoring vehicles, like banshees in Halo PC for example..
If the spawn timers on them take awhile it will definately take strategy to know when to bring a vehicle into the fight..don't want your best chance to get away with the flag to be blown up before you can even get there because you were trying to run someone over on the way.

i mean in most games there are "aim" boxes for certain amounts of damage until it's destroyed

well for example, say you shoot someone in the head it's going to do more damage than shooting them in the leg, now apply that to a warthog

KasrKin basically put it in simple words.
And whoever was saying "Zoomed in does more damage" - FLAT out Wrong

no it does no, you basically use the sights for more accuracy...you use the 3 burst mode for firing more lead. - a little less accurate..but more fire.

I don't believe I said it did more damage, I said supposedly..so it would be YOU who is flat out wrong. And I don't remember anyone named EzCompany being at the fanfest playing the game to get firsthand knowledge on whether it does or not so don't sit around and try to act like an expert on something you have no knowledge of whatsoever.

Mcclown i like your thought towards this with strategy and all. But yet i also thoght it was wayyy to easy. This is where i think a option button should be put in. Like a damage amount. Make them easy or hard to destroy.

What I heard was that the vehicles had been made weaker by the makers so it would take less time to wreck em! You dont want to spend 2 or 3 minutes of a live demo blowing one wing off a Ghost!

well, its not suppose to do a lot more damage when zoomed in
if it is so..then ppl over at Bungie need to read on" What sights do".
they Increase the Accuracy and Not the punch of the bullet.

Man I completely agree with ya Easy, don't get me wrong on that. I was simply told by someone from fanfest that it "appeared" to be stronger when just shooting one shot at a time compared to firing unzoomed bursts. This whole zoom thing is already apparant in the rocket launcher that homes rockets when zoomed. Although the persons who played also said the rocket was hell-a toned down as compared to the rocket from halo 1. Hopefully they were wrong about the BR and the rocket is the only weapon that seems to do anything like that..

Its not going to be easy to take them out. Want proof go watch the demo and count the number of shots that are fired. I got 28 when I did it. Also the ghost wasnt moving, now imagine if it was boosting how many more shots it would have taken.

My thumbsticks will be your Doom.... sorry 'bout that.
My Stats

Ahhh, Endnote I think you touched on it there. If we're talking about the demos at the press conference and E3 movies then i think for sure they turned down the amount of damage an enemy vehicle can take. Also they turn up the Health for the Chief, they want to show you the new stuff and not necessariy the new feel (must leave us salivating) but I'm sure that when it's published Bungie will have balanced it all out to perfection. Now as for the people who were at E3 this year i haven't heard from them and I'd wish they would post something. from the various articles about MP it seems like its still an amazing game.
