Many of the groups I am in have been very active lately. It seemed that the private groups suffered after the New Hawtness, but now many of them are bursting with activity? Has anyone else noticed this or are these just isolated incidents?

Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

I have not noticed such a trend except in CompoundIntelligence, which tends to have an activity level on par with the public Optimatch forum, more or less, except during times of heavy ARG activity when it jumps up to much higher levels approximating a "Halo 3 forum on sedatives."

Many of my other groups are seeing activity levels at about the same rate as always, except for the Guide, which has begun to suffer from ARG activity and my lack of time to add new content.

Do you have any theories as to why the groups you're involved in are seeing heightened activity?

"I pledge to punch all switches, to never shoot where I could use grenades, to admit the existence of no level except Total Carnage, to never use caps lock as my "run" key, and to never, ever, leave a single BoB alive."

I think group activity is about the same. I've had to cut back recently because I'm heading off to deeper water...with algae and fertilizer pollutants in it, if you will. However, I think they'll stick around for those who truly need that relief of going in and just doing what they want or talking more explicitly without the constraint of B.net Rules.

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

I think it is catching back. It is slow compared to before though, and since the 30 day autolock of threads it can be a problem.

Only 30 days? It seemed like it used to be longer than that.

As a Squirrel Ninja I promise this until I die, or can’t physically or mentally uphold the ways of the Squirrel Ninja.

I've noticed that activity has risen slightly as of late. However when Halo 3 is released and we get a flood of new members, I believe that the activity level in groups will skyrocket.

Well activity in my group has skyrocketed in the past 3 or 4 days :)

Most of the groups I'm in are more active, so I'd have to agree.

Maybe it has something to do with the new layout, and Halo 3 coming out soon.

Population and activity goes up, you'd expect group population and activity to go up as well.

I, also, have noticed increased activity. I also know the reason to why. Shall I tell you? Okay: It's because of me. *Laughs* Yes, that's right, me.

My presence here, whether you're aware of it or not, has a significant effect on members' brain wavelengths. Though you cannot consciously acknowledge it, my existence here energizes and motivates everyone to contribute more to the groups: this is true. I am a beacon.

What do you think? Am I right? Of course I am, aren't I? *Laughs*
