Hey, don't forget to wash your hands.

Well I thought it wouldn’t make sense to make an inverse Halo CE because there are not enough relatable Covenant characters. A friend and I made this. So here goes:

(NOTE: This does not comply with any elements of the actual Halo story beyond taking the events of Halo 2 and reversing them. When it was designed, we wanted it to be entertaining, even if we must sacrifice realism.)

Chapter 1: The Rebel
(A Marathon-class cruiser goes past a piece of the destroyed Halo. Earth lies in the distance.)

UNSC COLONY EARTH
10.20.2552 (MILITARY CALENDAR)

Spartan Commander: There was only one ship.
Admiral Ward: One? Are you sure?
Spartan Commander: Yes. They called it… the Truth and Reconciliation.
United Nations Senate: (excited murmuring)
Admiral Harper: Why wasn’t it destroyed with the rest of their fleet?
Spartan Commander: It fled. As we set fire to their planet.
(flashback of UNSC ships glassing Joyous Exultation and the Truth and Reconciliation fleeing)
Admiral Hood: When you first saw Halo, were you blinded by its majesty?
Spartan Commander: Blinded?
Admiral Hood: Paralyzed? Dumbstruck?
Spartan Commander: No.
Admiral Hood: However, the Covenant could evade your cruisers, make landfall on Halo, and destroy it?
Spartan Commander: Sir, you need to consider that once they attacked…
UN Senate: (indignant clamoring)
Admiral Harper: Order in the senate!
Ward: You were right to focus your attention on the Flood, but this demon, this… Arbiter…
Spartan Cmdr: By the time I learned what he was going to do…
(flashback of Halo’s destruction)
Spartan Cmdr: …there was nothing I could do.
(Senate’s pretty annoyed now)
Giant Cyborg Wookiee Leader: (laughter)
Hood: Admiral, this is too much even for me. Decide his fate. For the Senate!
Ward: You are one of our best soldiers, Spartan 117. You’ve led your fleets well, but this example of treason is a fatal error.
Senator: No, it was a sign of rebellion!
Spartan 117: I will continue to fight the Covenant.
Ward: No, you will not.
(Giant Cyborg Wookiee Leader: (bark)
Ward: Soon, the Mass Suicide will begin. However, your rebellious spirit will leave you incapable to kill yourself, and you won’t go to the sky world.

COVENANT HOLY CITY, HIGH CHARITY
NINTH AGE OF RECLAMATION

Major Elite: The plating almost failed. The gel layer has much viscosity. Your optics are completely burnt. The power supply is also depleted. Do you know how much this armor costs?
(Arbiter puts on helmet)
Arbiter: Ask a human.

Hey, don't forget to wash your hands.

Chapter 2: The Armory
(Note that I am making up the names of Covenant ships as I go along.)

Major Elite: However, your armor seemed old. Your new armor is a set fit for an Arbiter such as yourself. We have just received it from Guaranteeing Message in the morning. This armor may be strange to you, so let us test your targeting. Look at the top light on this grid, if you would.
(Arbiter looks at the top light)
Major Elite: Excellent. Now look at the bottom light on this grid, if you would.
(Arbiter looks at the bottom light)
Major Elite: Excellent. Now look at the top light on this grid, if you would.

Major Elite: Excellent. Now look at the bottom light on this grid, if you would.
(Arbiter looks at the bottom light)
Major Elite: Excellent. You have performed well. Go to the shield test station, if you would. I must calibrate your shields.
(Arbiter goes to the shield test station)
Major Elite: Your new armor has very resilient shields. Rather efficient, if I say so myself.
(The Arbiter’s shields go down and back up)
Major Elite: Excellent. You have probably noticed their increased recharge speed. Remember to go take cover if you find that they are down.
(Spec Ops Commander Rtas ‘Vadumee enters on the elevator.)
Spec Ops Commander: You may do that, or you may hide behind me. Are you through with this? No training wheels are visible.
Major Elite: His armor is in top shape, Excellency. Okay, Arbiter, you are free to leave, but heed my word. Take it slow.
Spec Ops Commander: With me by his side, he will not need to.
(Spec Ops Commander and the Arbiter get on the elevator)
Major Elite: It would seem two of your mandibles are missing. What happened?
Spec Ops Commander: I swore an oath to keep that information confidential.
Major Elite: Ha! Very likely! Well, we can probably find out whose Beam Rifle scope will not be seeing any upgrades!
(The elevator starts)
Spec Ops Commander: What a way to talk to a superior. It is no wonder the Prophets had not let him go to the ceremony.
(The Spec Ops Commander and the Arbiter transfer to a gondola)
Spec Ops Commander: Ah, Joyous Exultation. I have not seen it for some time.
(The gondola starts)
Spec Ops Commander: When I was but a Minor Domo with a fresh Plasma Rifle, the discovery of this world was just commencing. Look now. We have retrofitted this place rather well. Our fleets defend this station as if it was their own lives. These fleets will smite any threat that stands in our way. We also have megacarriers positioned outside the area to coordinate fire. Much of this morning has consisted of the arrival of ships. Nobody says anything, but I suspect we are all in for something…
