I remember when I got Xbox Live, about three months after Halo 2 was released. Playing online back then was always fun. There were few cheaters, and the nine origional maps are by far the most fun. Clan matches were also great.

Now when I play, There ae 20 (Random number, please correct me) maps, I only like about ten of them. Of those ten I enjoy, I only play about five. This is because the other five are in Big team, which isn't ranked. The times I don't get those maps, I get desilation and warlock, probably the worst two maps. Now If I feel like playing some clan matches, there aren't any. If I feel like playing big team, I can't. Every time I go into a big team game, the other team ALWAYS quits. (Or my team).

Anyone agree the old halo was much better then the new?

I did have more fun with leaderboards, but times have changed. Warlock and desolation arent bad maps, you just have no idea how to play them. You sound like an old man who doesn't know how to turn on a computer, the game itself has changed, you should adapt.

I'm pretty sure my 9,000 matchmaking game show that I know how to play the game.

And if I can't turn on a computer, how do you think I'm typing this?

Ya sure you know how to play halo, but can't play the new maps. You also come across sounding as if you're having trouble adjusting to the new mm scheme.

And I agree the setup was funner, but the current one is more refined.

He said nothing of not adjusting to the new maps to the point where he cannot play them.
He simply asked a simple question Halo 1 or 2, he dislikes the maps, but that doesnt nacsarilly (correct me if im wrong i cant seem to spell today) mean he cant play them well....

(starter of topic correct me if im wrong)

RIP Halo 2.

desolation arent bad maps

No, Desolation blows plain and simple. Even on LAN where host isn't an issue.

Agreed Certain Affinity did a pathetic job in remaking an Halo CE map! WTF? Only two BRs? The orignial had four pistols! A sword? WTF? Why replace the Sniper? Two oversheilds? Again WTF? No camo and OS that is POSSIBLE to get without dying 10000000000x times. Shotguns? Why make them in impossible tunnels that are so narrow one gernade will own you? WTF SMG SPAWNS when all of you already know how TERRIBLE they are in Halo 2 having it been out forever, and you made the map bigger so host BR dominates?! Wow just wow...

Zach, I understand what you mean now, and you're wrong. I know how to play the new maps. I just hate them.

I enjoyed playing lockout, ascension (sp?), and Midship about 75% of the time in team slayer. Now I play Warlock, tombstone, elongation, and desilation 75% of the time.
