We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming!
(Led Zeppelin were the original Halo fans)

Id like to be able to have it on the 3 computers in my house for lan and doing online together, but i dont know if i can do that... if not i can only do that with the demo...

Pretty sure you have to have a unique ID to connect and play with another machine. If both machines have the same ID it will not connect.

You can install it on how ever many you want, but if they have the same key, only one can be in multiplayer at once.

I don't think LAN games check for unique CD keys, do they?

I'm more than certain they do. The trial version of Halo PC works okay and can be played over LAN (I tried this at school), But when I installed the full Halo PC game onto the computers and tried to LAN with my m8's (this is before the massive security crap was put into place which prevented us from installing games without admin privileges) and when I created the game and got my m8's to join, they got a message saying invalid serial key or something. We tried several times and got the same results. I'm more than sure it will be the same online as well.

I've tried this for a LAN game and it doesn't work, you need different CD keys for each computer

That's so weird... I work at a LAN center and ALL of our games work with duplicate keys on a LAN.

Add me to your friends list if you haven't already. It's a lot more fun to play with people from The Maw and people I know than random noobs.

Heh, I'd just like to find my CD-key so I can play again >_>

*looks at huge huge pile of blam that needs to be cleaned up*

Sigh...

But you should be able to install fine, online multiplayer only works one at a time though I think.
