Subject: Level 50 players question?

Oooh, you are so nosy...

Okay what's up with the majority of level 50 players having their game data listed "Arranged Game". What's up with that?

I'd Rather Be A Smartass Than A Dumbass

They play customs and not matchmaking sir.

Nothing special going on.

  • 07.22.2007 4:18 PM PDT

Oooh, you are so nosy...

Wait a sec... You get a rank for custom games too?

You will have to give me an example of one of these people you are talking about so I can see for myself sir.

And I spoke in error.

Arranged game means matchmaking sir.

Aaahh then I was originally right.

Okay hold on. Alright let me try this again. Are majority level 50 players legitimate in their ranking? When I look up their data, their winning ratio far outweights their losing, which of course explain their level 50. My problem is why most of them have arranged game in their data. Does that means they practice a lot? Is there such a thing as a true ranked 50 player? (Sorry about the bad link. Here's a good one http://www.bungie.net/Account/Profile.aspx?player=xERICs%20A% 20G0Dx )

Being as though this is a message board, I see nothing wrong in asking.

Lots of reasons. They got their rank up, so they probably play custom games because their scared of losing their level.

Or more likely, they play custom games because people are hateful in matchmaking.

Thanks for the insight.

There are no legit level 50s

This is because once you get to level 40+ you get caught in games with circle boosters, which ends up meaning you will lose your level, or you will gain it unfairly

There were legit level 50's before the rank reset.

I can't imagine the fustration in being a former legit level 50 player. Realistically it's meaningless but if it's a legit rank, it's quite an achievement nonetheless. I wonder if Halo 3 highest ranked level will be fifty.

forst off there are no LEGIT 50s..
second if you find a 50 and any of his mathmade games are "unreliable" it means that someone did something they shouldnt have so therefore since most of all 50s games are unreliable they arent legit

Which I find are on most level 50 players game data. That number is starting to have less importance now. *sigh*

I'm sure there is at least one legit 50. Either way, it is some kind of achievement. The boosters have to know what they're doing to boost in the first place.

Steam: RageRunner32 | StarCraft II: RageRunner | Lets play Pc sometime :)

Bridging your connection to play with your friends who lets your/their team win/lost in a certain order to boost rank takes no skill at all. I could hand 8 toddlers a controller and circle boost myself to a 50.

And if you know about networking and bridging you know that it's extremely simple to do. So circle boosting is just cheap and for kids who are compensating for something.
