Every couple of minutes I find myself having to unplug and replug the controller because of slow speeds - the reticule is slower and the speed of which my spartan moves is slower.

Before, I had to do this every half hour or so, now it's getting worse. It seems like every 10 minutes I have to replug, it's so freaking annoying. Yesterday I was playing with sensitivity 10 and it felt like 4, once I repluged, it felt like 10 again, insane - but then it lasted only 10 minutes and it felt like 4 again.

I have an original s-type controller, does this happen to anyone else?
Any tips, help, suggestions you guys may have?

Thanks.

If you have two controllers try the different connections or just buy a new controller. Try cleaning the plug in spots.

Does anyone know if you can open it and remove the analog sticks and replace them with different analog sticks? I doubt they're removable, just asking.

theres screws on the back and you can take them out and the controller case will pop open, then you can switch them out, if you can find ones that fit and if that is the problem

How old is your controller? It's possible that you've worn down the analog sticks and it has to be replaced. BTW you can open the controller and pop off the plastic sticks but I highly doubt they'll solve anything. The plastic sticks grasp a tiny joystick underneath and it's more likely those sticks are the problem (worn down) but they can't be removed without desoldering about a dozen solder points under the controller to release it. You're better off buying a new one altogether.
