i find accuracy is in the hands of the gunholder, if you can make uper body shots with 80% percent of the clip then thats enough to at least drain there shields, you can use whatever amo you have left to attemt a fatal head shot, if all else fails through some frags, your bound to get a kill(unless its swat, then most of the time theres no frags)
Of course, but accuracy of the weapon and accuracy of the wielder are two different subjects.
Every gun is bound to kill. Maybe that's all you have to say, but for others who have more in mind I'd like to expan.
But here's my point.
The magnum don't have enough potential to fit the role of "primary spawning weapon."
Other than the needler, every other gun would be more useful. The magnum by itself limits the user in so many ways. The most notable is the number of options you have.
What makes the BR Halo 2's best spawning weapon (at least competitively) is the fact that it gives the player, and the team more options. There's more room for creativity. Not so much variety, but what the BR has to offer is enough to help you handle a good number of situations.
The skill comes in play when you have options. Dual weapon starts remove options. Not all, but enough to where wielding power weapons become low risk. And not even power weapons, weapons like the BR, Sniper, and the Sword have more control over the game than the actual player's skill.
In more than enough situations, in order to get a kill with dual weldable weapons, you have to put yourself in danger. Why? because the movement required to use dual wielding weapons at it's optimal best is not only predictable, but easy to counter. There's hardly any options, and you pretty much have to sacrifice cover for kills.
