I can't tell you how many people have cheated while I am playing against them and how many time I have been stand-byed..

Please take my poll and then tell me what you think about Bungie's BANHAMMER.

Thank you,

RIP Halo 2.

I'm sure it works, but it takes a really long time. For example, I got standbyed in Skirmish by some kid who was a 50 in Slayer. You think he'd be caught in the time it takes to standby to a 50.

The ban hammer...
-Scans your Xbox every time you log into XBL for mod chips.
-Handles reports
-bans people
-ect..

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that the banhammer can't figure out if someone is standbying. It just scans your box for modchips, altered files, and stuff like that. I thought that Bungie did something to prevent standbyes....

I think they made it harder but it definetly is still a problem.
As far as the banhammer goes, you try creating a system to accurately and quickly ban modders/hackers/glitchers and whatnot. It is really hard to tell unless you actually look at a game. The banhammer does it's job, there's just too many people breaking the rules at all times for it to keep up.
