It sounds like a glitch. I'm not sure how to fix it. If you go back and hunt for the news posts about the maps it will probably have a solution for you. All I can say is that they work just fine for me. I sniped some one on Tombstone less than an hour ago.

Never eat yellow snow, unless of course, you spilled your Mt. Dew!

Guy on my friends list has the same problem. I told him to delete and reload, which he did, and still has same problems. Very annoying. He can play on customs and in matchmaking he can play on the 2 newest maps Desolation/Tombstone, as well as Sanctuary, Warlock and Turf. I forget how the maps were grouped together when they were released but he said he has not played on Backwash in matchmaking. So I guess it is the map pack that that map is grouped in that is causing him the problem. Wish I could help.

"The best part of waking up is not Folgers in your cup but knowing Chuck Norris didn't kill you in your sleep."

You need to call customer service. I know it is annoying but theya re the only ones that can figure out the error.

I was having the same problem & someone told me to check the BT HomeHub I was using cause sometimes the settings might need changing. It turned out that for some reason the gaming bit was set at 'strict' which is why I wasn't ' allowed(!) to join on some maps.
BT HomeHub sucks by the way.
