So far this has proven to be the hardest achievement in the game. Clearly "The Arbiter" is the best level to try and obtain this metal, due to the stealth approach in the beginning, but so far I've come up empty handed. It does say kill 7 opponents from behind without being seen right? Well I've done that twice now. The first time was with the sword. After meleeing my 7th opponent in a row without being seen, I didn't get the achievement. I thought, okay maybe they aren't counting the sword. Next I tried it with the plasma rifle. Sure enough, after the seventh enemy fell, I still hadn't gotten the achievement. Is there something I'm missing here?

if you really want to get this achievement the easiest way, then in Halo 2 Vista Play Delta Halo on easy, kill off all of the AIs (save the rockets) then when the phantoms come kill the turrets, then get under the phantom where they drop the AIs and start meleeing every thing that falls and lands, they'll never know what hit them or their friend by the time you get the achievemnet.

That works? But won't they see you and cancel the achievement?

well, that's how I got mine, you just have to do it really quick and lets the Hell jumpers shoot at them to make the grunts and Jackels look at them and not you, they should be easy until the elites drop.

By far the easiest way to get this achievement is on High Charity. Do it on Easy mode. After Master Chief is dropped onto the platform by Gravemind, run past all of the Flood and other enemys. Keep following the passageways until you get to the big room with the buggers (or whatever they are called) are attacking the flood.

As you go up the ramp to the door to this area there is a weapon container with beam rifles. Grab one. Go through the door and stay in towards the back of the control room you are in. Carefully snipe 7 of the buggers and you'll get the achievement. On easy mode they don't move a lot and it is easy to line up your shots. If you miss a shot though you will have to start over. I managed to get it on the first try.

Agreed high charity is so the easiest and if you mess up you can do it over really easily.

Hired Gun messed up the achievements, just like the rest of the game. :/

I tried this but it didn't work. The first time around only six drones come out to fight the flood. I did read about this one though and congrats on your excellent sniping skills :-)

I got mine on Heroic during Gravemind (needs to be heroic or legendary to get enough grunts). When your entering the jail with the Brute that has its back turned, crouch and melee him. I shouldn't even need to tell you what to do with the sleeping grunts.

On any level right after a checkpoint find an area where you can kill on enemy with out the others going nuts. Kill it. Go back to the last checkpoint.

Is there a way to get to the campaign mode without the ability to sign in?

I tried this method too but it didn't work. Did an update fix this glitch?

Slaying noobs since 2007.

High Charity is the best place to do it, imo. With the constant fighting on the Covies, and Floods side it makes it easier to sneak up on them, 'specially snipers.

It's pretty said that it's only 20 points.

Yea but it's the only campaign achievement I have left. I gave the Delta Halo method a try last night, but couldn't do it without getting spotted.
