i have a few list of bugs that i would like to address if any B.net staff are reading this. some of the bugs might just be me, but can someone fix the html. its kinda too dense on the forums and would run allot smoother and quicker if someone would chop it down, it takes me allot longer to refresh or load another page, than other forums. also when i normally reply or message some one, or what ever has to do with typing. every time i send something in some occasions i randomly get logged off and i loose all that hard work I've been trying to type. which normally causes me to end up with frustration.

But just to let anyone know if a bungie staff is reading this, i hope, im running Mozilla firefox because my IE explorer doesn't work and im not sure if this site works better with IE. their is also a problem for me when i try to click the new topic button it doesn't guide me to were i make the post, it actually does nothing.

i do not know what that is but i hope its not me and i hope some one will fix my main concern with the html code. if you click view then source you can kind of see what i mean. Well thanks and i hope someone fixes the bugs. at least some of the html. But again some of them might be my comp. But i know the html is not me. Because some of the website desighn software that people or company's use add all this extra html that doesn't need to be their. that what my website desighn teacher taught me. But i hop some one reads this and under stands.
Edit: this post was originally in the flood and was accidentally set their by mistake. so i had to redo it in here since no one would move it here. sorry if i made any errors.

Well, I'm not really having any of the problems you are.. Unless you're talking about the slow loading today, I think everyone's getting that a little bit. Usually the page loads quickly for me, and I've never had to retype a post due to being logged out. (Running Firefox 2.0.0.5 here)

But i know the html is not me.

That helps us narrow down our search for the bug.

I'll start looking.

The only bug I've really come across is signing in...then being taken to the front page with it saying I haven't signed in. To fix this, sometimes I just need to click the button again, or click it again and type in my details.

I have not noticed any performance issues. Please upgrade to either Firefox 2.0.0.4 or IE 7 for the best performance.

The "New Topic" not working is something that happens to me from time to time, but I just go to a thread and click on it there.

Firefox should work fine (version 1.5 and higher, anyway). So should IE6 and 7, but I recommened IE7 if you're using IE. Anything else you're on your own (Opera and Safari mostly work, for example). But we don't support betas (like Safari for Windows).

The HTML isn't really the issue - the forums just have a lot of data to load. "View Source" isn't going to show you much because a lot of source code is generated automatically - that's why it looks illegible like that.

The logut problem is an issue we're looking into, but the system will not let you stay logged in for more than about 14 hours at a time usually, and definately not 24 hours. Furthermore, you can often avoid this problem if you make sure NOT to select "Save my password" on the sign in box and by closing your web browser window when you're done using the site (or hitting "sign out").

Oh, and on "new topic" not working. That seems to be caused by a browser failing to load the javascript that drives that button. If it doesn't work for some reason, press "Ctrl F5" to force a reload of the page - that should fix the problem. We'll continue to look into that to see if we can find a cause for the load failure, although it happens sporadically enough that it may just be simple networking issues or cache corruption on your client.

I have noticed b.net having a lot of slowness this morning. But it seems to have cleared up for me now.

thanks man. so its the traffic that causes all the lagg. do you guys use T3 lines? because i hear those things are extremely fast and kinda take the shape of a power cable do to the data and traffic they can handle. But i guess it's the amount of people in here that are quite a load on the servers. But anyways I'm glad you guys understand and are working really hard on the log in situation and i appreciate your guys hard work.
thanks, -=[Mav]=-

Isn't that the new, "Go outside and get some fresh air", feature?

I've noticed that logging in on the main page (which i need to do everytime i come here, since it won't keep me logged in), it will say
"Welcome, to Bungie.net!".
