I hate to tell you but even H2 was better. There was a story! Not just a 1 minute cinematech and run and shoot in the same -blam!- repetitive level.I don't know about you, but Halo 2 was a huge disappointment in the eyes of many Halo fans.
Are you trying to start a fight? The best thing in Halo Ce was the AR. But when the BR came in it sucked. H3 Kicks 4$$I don't mean to offend you, but it seems like you've played little Combat Evolved because from reading your post, you don't seem to realize the importance of the pistol...
Again, you say "Halo 3 Kicks 4$$" when the game isn't even out yet...
Let me elaborate earlier when I said Halo 2 was a disappointment. Before Halo 2 was released, everybody was anticipating fighting as Master Chief on Earth, battling the Covenant in New Mombasa; Hell, the tagline "Earth Will Never Be The Same" hooked lots of people in. They were excited for this new, not-so-alien setting. And now, Halo 2 comes, and what the Hell? We only play on Earth for two levels. They had such a big emphasis on it, too. That, is what I might consider disappointing. What about the boss fights and how much they sucked? What about the linearity of the levels, which made me feel like Master Chief was a train on rails? Perhaps the first Halo's level designs were repetitive and easy to get lost in, but if you looked around, you found a battle to fight in. Silent Cartographer is an excellent example. You could tackle that level in a larger number of ways. It had more replayability value than Halo 2's linear missions. I'm just wondering, but how much have you played the original Halo?
Oh, let's not forget the severely imbalanced gameplay in multiplayer. That's for a whole different thread.

So Master Kim, you're the voice of the village people here on Bungie.net?Nope, I'm just saying, I know plenty of people who liked the first Halo over the second one, and perhaps in the future, even the third one.
