Why isn't there a chat server on here. I'm not complaining or anything, but, I think you may have noticed that there is practically a new post every second. Plus it should be pretty easy to control.

No it shouldn't.

There is no way it would be easy to control. People would join and flood the chat therefore annoying the people who are honestly trying to discuss Halo/Halo2/Bungie.

I say maybe. It doesnt really matter. If they thought that then there would be one, would there? Its not like you have to reply to every post or topic.

MSXL: The Last Honest Chapter

I said no. Why? Because they already have forums and a personal message service! If you wanna chat, get AIM, Yahoo, or MSN!

bah

Maybe a link to a pre-existing Halo chat would be in order.

if you ask me, a chatroom/thingie/something/whatever isn't really needed. with chat stuff, things go too fast, i don't like that. and if i do, i'll just use msn.

No, discussions would be impossible to follow, and if by chance someone said something notable/important, odds are it would fall by the wayside. In chatrooms, conversations can't exist for days, giving everyone an oppertunity to provide their input. So, no.

I hate everything, but it's not my fault.

And also the forums will calm down soon, and then it will be more like a forum and less like a chat room. Then we can go back to calmly talking about whatever it was we talked about before all of this new B.net madness.
-EDIT OVER ONE YEAR LATER-
Wow, I was really wrong. And...I can't really think of anything witty to say, so I will leave it at that. Why are you reading this?

Has anything intelligent ever been said in a chat room? I rest my case. :P

Make it so its only like AIM with 2 people..not like a chatroom...but with chatrooms available for whoever wants to go there. I think the messanging system is good but an AIM type thing would be exxelent.
