B.B pretty much hits the nail on the head with my views as well. My MLG -blam!- experience came via Soul Calibur 2 and Smash Bros. Melee. Button glitching and physics exploits on the fighting games make the glitches on halo look tame. Couple that with -blam!- clowns and it makes it even worse. I used to be a decent tourney player until the idiots made me get out of competitive gaming. Its not so much the rules and settings that irk me rather than the people.
Since there's no way to tell who is actual MLG and poser on MM without knowing every facet of their personal lives via the MLG forums, we lump them all together as one elitist group with annoying attitudes. And for simplicity, it will stay that way in the eyes of many.
And to people who pull up the 50 kill plus games, objectives and customs are moot seeing how people on objective games could care less about deaths and on customs the settings (heavy vehicles, snipers, unlimited time, unlimited score) can make kills cake.
Don't even bother bringing my stats up, I honestly don't care what you think. I play for fun, and will continue to dislike MLG until they manage to find a way to change the minds of the majority like myself.
