I've only been playing for a few weeks, and have noticed that sometimes I get booted even though I don't betray anyone. For example, me and a friend were playing on the same Xbox360 in a Big Team Battle on Warlock, we play for a bit, and the next thing we know we get a 'sorry, you have been booted from the game message', without getting a betrayal message, so we assumed their was no betrayal. This has happened several times in big team battle.

Is there a way to just boot people? It would have been nice today when playing with a guy named 'Wimpy Warrior', who was taking the bomb on assault(on our team) and walking it off the map in Zanzibar, you can say that we were a little mad that he was basically screwing us over. If not bungie should add the feature to remove people that are being idiots.(Would need to be a majority vote thing though)

I've had the same thing happen to me. In fact, it just happened today to me in a Team Hardcore game on Midship

WoW Just what I need an easier way for me 2 get Booted. Hey it happens...... But Rarely happens while playing Slayer. I think people should get booted automaticly if they Betray 2 times/ Kill themselves 2 times. I CANT STAND the Option for Noobs to boot me for no Reason. I mean for Real people Friendly Fire does happen. Sheesh

I've heard that people playing on PC's can take host for a game, but would that also give the ability to boot whoever they want? If so that should seriously be considered cheating.

They have that system in shadowrun, and it works quite well. The only time it doesn't is when everyone in the party is that guy's friend except you and then you get kicked out of the game by majority vote instead of the real douche who teamkills.

I must say, though, that the Halo 3 boot screen was much nicer that "Press X to boot <name>" and i liked the new look. I never saw the other end b/c i was never booted :p.

I've been booted very few times for actually betraying. Most are accidents and a few of them are when someone makes me angry and I kill them, when I say this, I dont mean "oh he stole the weapon i wanted so ill kill him", I mean that the guy just betrayed/tried to betray me over a weapon or did the same to a teammate. I hate crybabies who throw fits like that and kill people over weapons.
Other than that, a lot of the boots I get are the kind i described, and are almost always in BTB.

Bungie doesn't see gamers any more. They see walking credit cards.
